Hunting practice

Andrew and Katie are in Katie's secret little hideaway. The sofa in the picture is an old one someone had discarded. Most of the sofa's cushions were gone and Katie improvised by using other sofa cushions she had laying around, which Andrew likes to call the eclectic sofa.



As Andrew put a item on a shelf, Katie stood behind him.

"Thanks Andrew. I can never reach that top shelf"

"How did you mange to get stuff up there in the first place then?"

"I stood on the sofa."

"The eclectic one?"

"Yep," Katie grinned mischievously. "Andrew, think fast," Katie said before Andrew could even react and pounced on him, making him fall back on the sofa.

"How many times must I tell you! Don't use me for hunting practice."

"I got to practice sometime," Katie teased playfully.

"But you don't even need to pounce! It's that cross bow you made, that you use for hunting, isn't it?

"Hmm... you got me there" Katie smiled, trying to look innocent.

"So, why pounce on me?"

Looking down at him, Katie place a paw on his shoulder and stroked her fingers of her other paw against Andrew's check. She smiled so sweetly at him, Andrew sighed as his heart melted.

"Because I like you, you dope," Katie spoke softly, kissing him on the check.

"Only "Like?" Andrew asked, pretending to sound disappointed.

"Well... maybe more like love" Katie yawned, settling down beside Andrew and resting her head against his shoulder.

"Tired?"

"Hmm. It's getting late and it's an early morning for me tomorrow," Katie responded, wrapping a arm around him, him tightly.


As Katie fell asleep against him, Andrew watch her sleep for a little while before quietly getting up. Covering up Katie with her bedspread, Andrew kissed her lightly on the forehead. Night night, Katie. See you tomorrow."
