Character Description:

Buzz Lightyear is an Astronaut working for Star Command trying to thwart the evil Emperor Zurg. In the Toy Story series, he's an action figure and was given to Andy on his birthday as a surprise gift. His flashy appearance impressed the other toys but not Woody. When he and Woody got lost, he came to the realization that we wasn't a space ranger. Thanks to Woody, he learned what it meant to be a toy and uses his skills to act as second-in-command whenever the Toys are about to go on an adventure.
