J Is For Just (Do It):
You want to make a picture with blood in it? Perhaps some religious connotation you should have thought about beforehand but it looks really good in the finished product? You want to shock and awe some people, show some guts, some gore?
Just do it.
With this particular genre, if you don't JUST DO IT, you won't do it at all. Horror and macabre photography is a touchy subject at best, it runs right up there alongside (though perhaps not as much) artistic nude for how scrutinized it can be. There will always be somebody who is going to be a jerk - just go with it.
Just create. An eyeball, you say? Hanging out of the socket? While you're holding a doll that looks very much like a baby? Covered in what you certainly hope looks like blood but might be jam? With sausages for intestines looped like a belt?

we have a few simple rules to follow.
Members are allowed to submit 2 photographs per week.
Please submit to the correct folder.
for example: portraiture in "portraiture". insects in "animals and insects and birds"
We accept all types of photography into our general submissions including portraits, nature, animals, macro, abstract, photojournalism, city and rural, artistically beautiful nudes, etc. We simply ask that you submit your best work!
No poor focus / blurriness
Good exposure (not overly dark/overly light)
The main subject, whatever that might be, clearly in focus
No snapshots (ex: no webcam shots or "facebook/myspace" like self-portraits)
No crude nudes
NO PHOTOMANIPULATIONS!
if you want to disable gallery submissions in your inbox, please feel free to block submissions.
1- Sort deviations by member.
2- Click the down arrow on any of the deviations from this group.
3- Choose "unwatch take-a-photo's deviations".
4- You have unwatched our deviations and they will not show up in your inbox anymore.
