Sowed the Corn

By
Well, even though it's too late for Week 20 of *createbyweek, I tried. All I needed was one more night. Ah well. At least now this series is over with :phew: Remind me never to undertake something like this again :P Oh yes, and I couldn't find a farmer anywhere. So I had to settle for a hand  Oh well. Good enough? I sure hope so. Unless someone can suggest a good farmer stock pic...?:eyes:

71 layers in this last pic, 25 different stock artists used, and 28 stock pics. Not to mention a bit of painting and such here and there. Time...was probably around 7 hours, off and on. Did I mention how relieved I am to be done with this? :faint:

I've moved my stock over to my Art account and am refaving everything that used my stock over there. I'll be better able to keep track and pay more attention to those who use my stock that way so :iconstillwillow: is officially closed but you can find all my stock at :iconfollowintheblackbird: .

Ha, I didn't even look at your comments and I knew this was based on the child's story "This is the house that Jack built". Love it, you did a wonderful job at combining all those stocks :faint:

This was the final of...11 or 12 in this series, and I was soooo glad when I was finished :phew: If you haven't already, and you're feeling ambitious, you should look at them all in order to see the progressions  I'm glad you like it!

I'll try to check them out soon, not saying I'll comment on them all, but I'll let you know when I have. But if this was the final piece, I like everything that's in it....something to look at everywhere you turn your eye :) Welcome!

Comments on each one are definitely not required :D I personally find the progression of the pieces very interesting though, 'cause I added something new to each one. I think the format I tried to use was adding one thing to the house and adding whatever the next phrase of the nursery rhyme was. I guess it's kind of like the hide 'n' seek game you posted, lots of things to find :D

You did an excellent job, I don't think I would of had the patience to completely make each work with different poses and such, probably just would of added one item at a time. Good job Allison and thanks for letting me in on the series :)

Yes, by the second or third piece I was getting really sick of tubing :P Looking back at the finished product now, I seriously don't know how I did it. I'm usually the sort of person who loses interest in a project if it takes more than a couple days to complete. But I guess since each piece took less than a day (I think I was making at least two a night) maybe that kept it fresh. Thank you for taking the time to look at all of them!

Most welcome, I truly enjoyed it! And I can imagine getting tired of tubing, you must have alot of patience, but then having 3 children, I suppose you do :D

 I'm so glad to hear that! It's very encouraging as an artist to hear that something I've done has inspired other people. Thank you!

:w00t: There are several times when the characters got stuck off the edge of the page, but I think overall it worked :D

I almost lost heart at the very end, but I couldn't just leave it incomplete. It is a very satisfying feeling to look at the finished products :D
