So this piece correlates with this "short story" here: Speak now "Let them speak now or forever hold their peace."

I barely resisted laughing to myself.  No one would be so bold as to try to interrupt this wedding.  Still, I couldn't help but glance at the audience behind my veil.  A few members of the congregation shifted in their seats uncomfortably, but no one stood.  Not one murmur rose from the crowd.

I wished Jem could be that courageous.  But not even Jem would be willing to risk the wrath of the man standing in front of me: my fiancé.  There was a slight smirk on his face; he noticed my wandering eyes.  He whis

I have this idea for a novel really where Cinderella didn't want to marry the prince. She was at the ball for vastly different reasons and got caught up in the whole marriage escapade.

Now it's her wedding day, the day that is supposed to be her "happily ever after" and she feels trapped. It's the moment right before she needs to walk down the aisle and she can't help but be struck with how beautiful it is outside. She steps towards the glass and reaches out her hand, wishing she could be a bird and take flight. A tear escapes, but she knows that she really doesn't have a choice in the matter. Now she is determined to see things through, even if her heart is torn to pieces.

The dress is heavily influenced by this stock here:

When I eventually finish this, I had intended to use a window as shown here and have you see through to the gardens outside. Please critique for when I will finish this :D

I'm not a pro at critiques, but I'll do my best.
<img src="…" width="15" height="13" alt="" title="Heart"/> This is amazing Allie! I love how simple yet how sybmolic it is. Your realistic style's pretty good and I can see the yearn in her eyes and I really like how you use stocks as the most realistic references to draw this picture.
The only thing I'd change is if you had the time to color it and add a more vivid expression on her face so the viewers can have a better idea of what she may be thinking. Shading and textures will also make the picture stick out.
I've always loved your style and how proportional you draw the figures.
Keep it up <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> I love your art <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
