It is an absolute pleasure to shine a spotlight on the charming, tender gallery of vikaherbs (Ivana). Based in the Czech Republic, her creative journey is a heartwarming reminder that it is never too late to embrace one’s passions.
Having discovered her love for drawing and painting after the age of 40 ; starting with colored pencils and later blossoming into watercolors; she approaches every canvas with the pure curiosity of an eternal student and the gentle soul of a naturalist.
Her art is an intimate celebration of nature’s quiet wonders: wild herbs, tender blossoms, and innocent creatures, all infused with warmth, sincerity, and an ever , evolving poetic vision.

A single chamomile, yet it fills the whole page.
The deep blue behind the white petals is such a peaceful choice.
I’m not exactly great at making daily posts, which is why I don’t share things like this very often.
Lately, while reflecting on the time I’ve spent on DA, I wanted to briefly express what this place means to me. I have dear friends here; they are like family to me. Among the many artists I follow, they hold a very special place in my heart. If I were to try listing their names one by one, I might accidentally leave someone out, but that core group is always there.

This is a heads-up to our group members. Please don't submit art to the "Administrator's" folder as this is for the admins of the group only. Work submitted there will be declined. Thank you.
DeviantArt is now forcing us to use their new group format and we don't have a say. I find this reprehensible. If you look at the formats for individuals and groups they look pretty much the same. Uninteresting and dull. What do you think?
