Docks are coming - making the preview image for them. "Flavour" Docks will have 4 types: the one there on the left edge and one for the right edge,
2 for the bottom edge; one in 3D and one regular that matches the one you see only made to appear on the bottom edge of the screen.
Wallpapers as a pack could be released soon too. I will upload this one as a separate deviation to kick it off.
Complaints about this wallpaper, screenshot and more can be expressed in the comment section for this deviation
On the question of Big Sur.
No, I will patiently sit here in my non-existent rocking chair waiting for the Golden Master that should be out sometime late October.
I have tried one of the earlier betas-the first one released and then some a bit later, but decided against it and reinstalled everything and went back to Catalina 2 times I believe. It's a hassle every time I do that, but I live to punish myself.
Sadly I have watched too many videos and also had first hand experience with it - now I feel dumb. It was cool to try Big Sur, although I felt like there must be some more bug fixes and new bugs introduced when the final version hits the Mac App Store. I shalt await the final release.
It's all a matter of how themable Big Sur will be - and thankfully by the looks of things, there's a great deal that can be done still - if one remembers to use a few Terminal commands before proceeding with installing Big Sur.
Thanks for the reply. For my old iMac from 2009 there's a fellow called dosdude1 that has compiled some software that enables one to install all the way up to Catalina on older machines - no doubt he'll also make a hack for Big Sur when it's released:
I gave it a shot with Catalina, but after a while I went back to High Sierra - the system seemed smoother with the OS that Mother Nature intended for it...
