This is why I like red and black characters... I know it's seen as kind of a bad thing for some reason but black and red just do so well together. It must be the mix of warm and cool colors. Black (cool) and red (warm), purple (cool) and yellow (warm), etc. You can mix cool with cool and warm with warm and it will be good too though. This is similar to what happens when you mix dark colors with light colors on a character, or choose not to.
