Thank you to everyone who participated and turned this into something special!!

Hello people!
Important announcement: Now that the first entries are rolling in I noticed that some people depict their horse for the Dressage Novice Level with a Double Bridle. For this class, in fact, only a snaffle bit is allowed however. In the description of the class I only stated 'Correct tack' - refering to the correct tack for the specific class and within real life guidelines - thinking people would know which tack is appropriate or look it up; so I didn't specifiy it any further. This is a mistake on my part and I'd like to hereby sincerely apologize for that. This is also why I'm annoucing this now. With a month still to go I want to give people a chance to change the bridle on their drawing. I'm deeply sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or Cursey! Thank you for your understanding and I hope you can all enjoy the show nevertheless

Arrival & Accommodation
Entrants may arrive early and board their horses at Briar Mills Equestrian Center for a certain period of time. The facilities are open for training and riders are provided rooms in either hotels or apartments.
The horses then will be moved to the stables on the pier on Thursday.
If the entrants arrive directly from the Toronto Pearson International Airport they may do so on Wednesday or Thursday as well. For the riders there's hotel rooms and apartments near the venue. There will be around the clock surveillance for the horses and the riders and their staff will receive an access pass with which they may come and go as they please.
Vet check
The vet check will take place on Friday morning starting at 9am. Following the FEI standards the dressage horses will be examined by 2 people and the show jumpers by 3 people. Riders or owners will be asked to hold their horse while it gets inspected and then be prompted to walk and trot their horses in front of the jury. The jury is very concerned about the horses comfort and well-being so horses who get nervous around vets will be inspected with extra care and after an extensive talk with their rider/owner to make sure the horses won't be subjected to more stress than necessary.

COMMENTARY
Expertise and experience paired with a little bit of hot tea. This is what Toronto's commentators will bring to you.
Blake Declan Lavoie
The 27-year old show jumper is Canadian by birth and truly also at heart. Toronto being a special place to him, he’s delighted to represent Briar Mills and give his insight and expertise for the commentary.
Koda Ferrigno
Being as involved in the equestrian business as this young man is, he provides all the background information and rumours about the competitors. He’s the manager of the Imperial Racing Department and many should recognise his name as the highly successful Jockey of RPS Suicidal Tendencies.
COMMENTARY INPUT
Depending on the entry amount, all 4 classes will have commentary. However, we guarantee that the two Grand Prix classes will have commentary whatsoever. This equals the live broadcast for viewers. To make sure your pair is described as accurately as possible, I'd politely ask you to add the following to your entries description:- Information about the rider (Age, origin, etc. Are they known for something? A big win perhaps? Do they ride full time, do they have a job on the side; give us all the information you think is important or interesting. We want to let the people know who your rider is!)
- Parents and/or notable ancestors of the horse
- Breeder of the horse
- Anything interesting about your pair (have they come back from an injury, are they a new team etc.)
Dressage
Show jumping
- Description of their style (how do they work together, what is special about their style etc.)
- Strongest/weakest move
- How does the music choice support the horses movement
Show jumping
- Which obstacle would they have most trouble with (you can refer to the course map and provide a number and explanation)
- How do horse and rider work together
- Anything special about the horses or riders jumping style
- For the Grand Prix, if they would end up in a jump off: How much risk would they be willing to take
