My Grandfather holding his ID card from when he was a soldier in the United States Navy
during World War II. He was stationed on the USS North Carolina Battleship during
and after the attacks on Pearl Harbor.

My great grandpa Pyatt was at Pearl that day, aboard the USS Tennessee BB-43. Took shrapnel from bombs and was shot twice. Was discharged from the navy, reenlisted in the army a year later and was shot 7 more times on D-Day. Massive respect to all allied forces, especially our Navy boys who were there on that tragic day.
