Description
I created this piece in tribute to the owner of my local art store who sadly passed away at the end of October on his way to work due to a massive heart attack. He was only 55.
He was a generous man who often gave me new polymer clay supplies he had bought for the store for free so that I could try them out for him and let him know if I thought they would be good sellers or not. I always made sure to provide him with the results so that he could show them to prospective customers as examples of what could be done. The FIMO Doll that I created was one such case.
I felt it only fitting that I make a little tribute to him out of polymer clay and so I created a little FIMO "flow angel". This little figure featured as part of the store branding. It was described to me as a guiding spirit to help creatives get into the flow state of creating.
It ended up being stuck to the front of a little book that had been made for family, friends, and customers to leave messages of remembrance in.
It measures 4cm tall by 4.8cm wide.
