:wow: Ulrich, you are very close, but still on the wrong side of the city. it's the Oslo- Copenhagen line

Most interesting. Copenhagen is part of Norway these days :-? :giggle:
Oslo - Drammen: Have been on this line about a million years ago. Also went from Bergen to Oslo by train, unfortunately the night-train, so that I could not see the mountains and glaciers :-(

well, why not :giggle: ok - the oslo -halden line then (but the line continues to gothenburg, and then to copenhagen, and then to .... somewhere else ;))

bergen - oslo is far more interesting than oslo - drammen. the last one is dull. you should come back for the first one in daytime

btw, i've been to a small canal trip (seminar) with my department at work. the telemark canal - passing ten locks, beautiful nature, and power stations. not at all the fastest way to travel, but interesting indeed [link] i shall uploud some more pictures from the trip soon :)

So many places to go, so little time and energy left :-(
Telemark Canal - this sound interesting. There is one lock with a height of 23 m :faint:
And when it comes to nature in Norway it certainly is ever so often a triple AAA. South coast, I love it more than the fjord- and mountain - regions of the west. I find them interesting, but also sort of intimidating.
A BIG , Hanne, dear friend.
Already :eager: for the pictures

i think the most amazing thing with the canal trip was the quietness in the landscape, and the locks disappointed me, just like standing still. i've heard it's more interesting to travel upward :?
....and i prefer to travel to other countries, but money...

have a couple of pictures of power stations, i like them , but can't make up my mind about what to do with them.

Excellent compilation of photos, even the center photo is cohesive to the whole piece despite the shift in pattern.

thanks corey, i'm glad you like it. i'm really not sure about this panel because it's a bit chaotic with all the lines. i guess the center photo helps to give some harmony :)

That's what I was thinking, sort of like the eye of the storm (and not just because they are clouds).

I LOVE B and W but when color works, it works. It adds a richness and expands the depth of the texture...it helps to break up the surface into sections. My vote is to stay with the color. Nice piece.
