- Torimori -

Torimoris are cute little creatures that were created in another world through magic
for ordinary people. Their primary reason for existence is to protect those people
and their harvest from dangerous insects. After some time, they became quite popular
between many worlds, mainly because of their adorable looks and outstanding loyalty. :3
Compared to creatures from planet Earth, they look like a mix between birds and bats.
The first Torimoris were tiny and fragile, yet very agile and fast, due to being created specifically
for catching various insects. As of today, most of Torimoris are much larger and have entirely different
construction of wings, sometimes even being unable to fly (though it can be fixed with with the help of magic)
. Despite that fact, they can still deal with insects using ultrasonic sounds to scare them off.

- Some Facts -

• Aside of wings, Torimoris are distinguished by their colors and tail shapes - considering decorative nature of modern Torimoris, there are a lot of various possible variations.

• Torimoris are omnivore, and they will happily eat some of fruits ^_^

• Their eyes and ears look like those from the bats, but their vision is much more developed compared to species of Chiroptera, through their hearing is slightly weaker.

• Most of their body consists of a sufficiently dense and soft fur - usually, only the wings and (sometimes) the tail are covered by plumage, though sometimes some feathers are placed on the head, forming a tuft.

• The average weight for Torimori is 20-40 grams, average length is 15-20 cm.

• Torimoris have an outstanding intellect for such a little creatures - not only they can recognize commands from people or read their mood and intentions, but they also have a sense of free will. There were many cases when Torimores ran away to the wildness after being abused by their owners, sometimes finding somebody else to live with, or even never coming back.

• Torimoris have a pair of very grippy and dexterous paws. Sweeping their wings to gain the momentum, they can easily climb any tree with the help of their claws. They can also use their paws to comfortably place themselves on their owner's shoulder. Torimoris don't know how to walk, through - while on the ground, they're moving with little jumps.
