What is there to criticize? I love blues/greens and you've successfully managed to use the same shade in different places of the painting and still make it look like each boat is clearly delineated without any confusion whatsoever. Kudos to you on that! The eyes travels around the picture easily without any jarring stops. There's a wonderful sense of peeling paint and/or weathered wood. I can almost feel the splinters ready to jab itself into me if I'm careless. But the woods feels worn, loved, and used. This contrasts nicely with the smoothness of the water. There's a quiet vitality to this picture, an anticipation of one about to go on a trip, despite no fishing gears in the boat. You can feel the warmth of the sun too, It's good that you didn't put any oars diagonally across as that would have been too jarring. Sometimes it's best to just focus on the simplest details, which you have successfully done. Kudos to you!
