Bryce Canyon, Milky Way

By
This is from our amazing trip to Canyons. We almost visited all National Parks and Canyon in Arizona and Utah region. When we were at the Bryce Canyon, the sky was very clear and bright during the day. At night, the stars were also getting visible nicely. We had to leave earlier that I could not get the exact Milky Way shot that I wanted. Hence, I made a composite:) I previously made a trial on this concept, which was highlighted on 500px Facebook page even though I made a sloppy job there:) I hope this one looks better:)

Thank you very much all, for your comments and faves...

I can't believe there's a view like this somewhere, but since I believe this is an unaltered photo, there really is a view like this somewhere! What a stunning shot!

I have never seen such an expansive view of Bryce Canyon, and the night-time sky enriches the scene dramatically.
Beautifully shot.

Looks like a waterspout lifting off a distant lake behind the spires of the canyon.

FREAKING AMAZING! There should be mandatory shut off of light pollution so we could enjoy this more elsewhere! Alas, it will not... :(

Did you go on any hikes?

The Narrows is phenomenal if you ever get a chance again
I've gone twice and its still my favorite hike haha

Yes we did a hike. The water was very cold that I could not walk to Narrows. I learnt that one need special gear for that and it takes some hours?

Its cold if you go before the sun warms up the water
The first time i went it was about midday and the water was nice
but the second time I left for the hike when it was dark so the water was freezing most of the time

I didn't really use any special gear. The only thing I would suggest is keens or some water friendly shoes
It does take a few hours but its totally worth it
Still is my favorite hike of all time <33
