27. Day of The Wolf 1 Reboot (Daybreak)

-- Story summary: Anti-terrorist federal agent Janet Wolf must save the nation from two major threats. While she confronts vengeful terrorists with a weapon of mass destruction and a White House conspiracy, she finds herself in the hardest day of her life, in which her enemies can be as hell-bent as her, ready to fight fanatically to the bitter end.

-- Personal note: story No. 27. (Janet Wolf story series.) Although it was inspired by the TV series "24", this unreal real-time story tells merely the most important minutes of each hour. I created Day 1 Reboot, because I "had" to prove to myself that I was able to write a story that was better than Day 1.

-- Features: female: DLAC, DLLC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, RC, SAC, SHSC, SLC, SSC, amputee, bandages, halo brace, neck brace, paralysis, splints / male: BC, DLAC, DLLC, paralysis.

-- Genre: fan fiction, action drama, crime thriller + parody.

25. Timelined 3 - 1964

-- Story summary: With the help of Bob, Diana and one more acquaintance, Sarah returns to the future from the 20th century, but her winding way back is paved with plaster. She is given not only big casts but also important information that can save her native timeline from the evil forces in the Multiverse.

-- Personal note: story No. 25. (A part of "Timelined" story series.) The third instalment of this series was long overdue. I wrote the draft many years ago, right after Timelined 2, because I didn't want to leave Sarah in the 20th century, being forgotten and parted from her husband and her friends. But whenever I opened the draft, I didn't like it, and, instead, I got busy with other stories. So, finally, I dived into it, and deleted and rewrote nearly half of the stuff.

-- Features: female: AFC, BC, DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, RC, SHSC, SLC, SSSC, VP, paralysis / male: DLAC, DLLC, MC.

-- Genre: science fiction, historical fiction.

-- Published: July - August 2021. Revised: -.

-- Length: 14 chapters, approx. 21,700 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 30 min.

-- "A nice start to the concluding story of Sarah's time travelling adventures. I'm looking forward to the rest of the story and how Sarah's adventure ends." comment

24. The Zeppelin Girl

-- Story summary: after Sabine survives an airship disaster, she gets not only into casts  and bandages but also into a big trouble. When the political system that  helped her live a privileged life turns against her, she has to choose  between worldviews, knowing that her decisions will have an impact on  the fate of great powers.

-- Personal note: story No. 24. (A non-series story.) At first, I planned to create a  story related to the Hindenburg disaster (1937), but I changed my mind,  because it's not a good idea to write "stupid" things about real events.  So, I "invented" Zeppelin Siegfried. The name of the airship was  suggested by goblin775

-- Features: female: DHSC, DLLC, DSAC, DSSC, FBC, LLC, RC, SAC,  SHSC, SSC, bandages,  disability / male: -.

-- Genre: drama, historical fiction, spy thriller.

-- Published: January - February 2021. Revised: -.

-- Length: 13 chapters, approx. 22,900 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 35 min.

-- "Loving the story more and more. Although the casting details are very good, I speeded over them just to read further and learn how the story itself evolves. Sehr gut!!" comment

23. Future Imperfect

-- Story summary: From her familiar and high-tech but war-worn world, Natalie gets dropped into a primitive, post-apocalyptic place where reinventing plaster casts can influence history.

-- Personal note: story No. 23. (Non-series story.) It starts right before the end of the world-as-we-know-it, and it leads into times when reinventing plaster-casting can influence history.

-- Features: female: BC, DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSAC, DSLC, DSSC, LAC, LLC, MC, RC, SAC, SLC, arm splint, body splint, leg splint, bandages / male: nose guard.

-- Genre: science fiction, post-apocalyptic.

-- Length: 17 chapters, approx. 26,800 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 50 min.

-- "I really enjoy this! It is not only castploitation, but also exciting science fiction. Keep up the good work!" comment

-- Features: female: AFC, DLLC, DSLC, DSSC, LAC, MC, RC, SSC, jaw brace, neck brace / male: DHS, DLLC, DSSC, PSC.

-- Genre: drama.

-- Published: November - December 2019. Revised: -.

-- Length: 15 chapters, approx. 25,300 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 45 min.

-- "Too classy, look forward to the rest!" comment

21. Film Casting

-- Story summary: pursuing a career in film industry, Jennifer takes part in a special film casting that brings not only great fame but also big casts to her.

-- Personal note: story No. 21. (Non-series story.) In this case, the title of the story was born well before the story itself.

-- Features: female: BC, DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSAC, DSLC, DSSC, FBC, MC, bandages / male: -.

-- Genre: drama.

-- Published: June - July 2019. Revised: -.

-- Length: 15 chapters, approx. 27,200 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 50 min.

-- "Brilliant idea of writing a lot of full body cast movie scenes in different scenarios! I am looking forward for the next chapters and hope Jennifer gets at least a nomination for an Oscar." comment

20. Day of the Wolf 3 - The Third Strike

-- Story summary: attacks on a presidential candidate calls for action. Janet Wolf and the agents of the Anti-Terrorist Division have got only twenty-four hours to solve the crisis before it would reshape the political landscape forever.

-- Personal note: story No. 20. (Janet Wolf story series.) Although it was inspired by the TV series "24", this unreal real-time story tells merely the most important minutes of each hour.

-- Features: female: DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, RC, SAC, SHSC, SLC, SSC, amputee, paralysis, blindness / male: FBC, LLC, SLC.

-- Genre: fan fiction, action drama, crime thriller.

-- Published: Prelude: October 2022, The Third Strike: February - April 2019, Postlude: October 2022 Revised: -.

-- Length: 24+2 chapters, approx. 44,200 words, estimated reading time: 3 hour

-- "Another great installment to an already great series. You have a great talent my friend! Please continue" comment

19. The Preventer

-- Story summary: a serious accident and an exceptional experience turn Alex's life inside out, converting him from a greedy broker into the fallible unsuperhero Preventer, who strives for saving girls from the peril of casts to get an incredible reward.

-- Personal note: story No. 19. (Non-series story.) First person story, starring a male. However, you won't miss girls with casts, either. Basically, it is a weird salvation story about penitence and forgiveness, and about the possibility of getting a second chance.

-- Features: female: DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSAC, DSLC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, SHSC, SLC, SSC, paralysis, bandages, blindness / male: BC, DLAC, DSAC, DSSC, FBC, PSC, RC, halo brace.

-- Genre: drama.

-- Published: August - October 2018. Revised: -.

-- Length: 22 chapters, approx. 38,600 words, estimated reading time: 2 hour 35 min.

-- "I really enjoyed the Preventer. It's really good. The characters are great and you really made the dialogue fantastic and fleshed out the characters far better than I ever can." comment

18. Mia and the Mafia

-- Story summary: along the way of fighting the Mafia, the talented and courageous journalist Mia loses old friends and gathers new enemies. Having unknowingly started a chain of events, years later she has to face the consequences of an old-forgotten lie, which turns up from nothing to take its reprisals just after the big things seemed settled.

-- Personal note: story No. 18 with an "out of the frying pan, into the fire" situation. (Non-series story.)

-- Features: female: cast, amputation, disabilities, bandages / male: -.

-- Genre: crime thriller.

-- Published: April - May 2018. Revised: -.

-- Length: 14 chapters, approx. 25,400 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 45 min.

17. Breakpoint

-- Previously entitled: Dewdrops

-- Story summary: what if we fuse fiction with facts from real life? Cops and criminals, human trafficking and sex crimes, betrayal and revenge in a world where, after crossing the Breakpoint, everything is turned upside down: best friends become worst enemies, and beauty turns into a sinister beast.

-- Personal note: story No. 17. (A Fringe Corner story.) It starts as a simple, conventional story with casts, but it grows increasingly gloomy after a few parts, then suddenly transforms into a ruthless revenge drama that goes far beyond just about people with casts. This isn’t because I ran out of ideas or anything like that (oh, you know, the “jumping the shark” thing). When I drafted the storyline, I wasn’t exactly in the best of moods, to say the least, and I wrote this dark tale as a way of letting off some steam. Welcome to Fringe Corner! Additional information: Rocío is a Spanish female name that literally means “dew.”

-- Features: female: FBC, DHSC, DLLC / male: DLLC, DSAC, LAC, amputation, bandages, blindness.

-- Genre: drama, crime thriller.

-- Published: October - December 2017. Revised: February - June 2024.

-- Length: 27 chapters, approx. 38,700 words, estimated reading time: 2 hour 30 min.

16. The Experiment

-- Story summary: Rebecca has a smooth and successful career in science, but her personal life is a somewhat complicated because of her Asperger's syndrome. But things become even more difficult when she is tasked with finding the perfect cure for brittle bone disease. After meeting several women in casts, she is confronted with someone who is at the other end of the spectrum.

-- Personal note: story No. 16. (Non-series story.) It was slightly inspired by the film “Unbreakable”, which is an American superhero thriller from 2000.

-- Features: female: DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSAC, DSATSC, DSLC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, RC,  SSC / male: HSC, LAC, RC.

-- Genre: drama, medical thriller.

-- Published: April - May 2017. Revised: October - November 2023.

-- Length: 13 chapters, approx. 24,900 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 40 min.

15. Agent Alpha

-- Story summary: here’s your chance to become a hero! That means that the main character of the story can be anyone you can imagine: male or female, young or old, short or tall, blonde or brunette. It all depends on your imagination. This isn’t a typical, linear narrative, but a captivating, interactive adventure where you can make decisions and discover different possibilities as you move forward. So, when you reach a decision point, you have to choose what to do next. Do you go right or turn left? Should you fight or run away? Will you be the hero or the loser? Obviously, you’ll have to deal with the consequences of your decision, whether it’s right or wrong. Walk through the labyrinth of the story and explore all the possible endings, which can be happy or sad. You can find yourself in many casts due to broken bones, or wrapped up in bulky bandages because of severe burns, or you can end up as someone who’s lost one or more limbs, or who’s become paralysed.

-- Personal note: story No. 15. ('Choose your own adventure!' story.) I tried to create an interactive story told in the present tense, using the second-person perspective.

-- Features: cast, bandages, paralysis, amputation, disabilities, blindness, deafness (depending on the chosen storyline).

-- Genre: drama, adventure, action, crime, thriller (depending on the chosen storyline).

-- Published: December 2016. Revised: December 2021 - June 2022.

-- Length: 50 chapters, approx. 27,400 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 50 min.

-- "The choose-your-own-adventure setup has always been my favorite. I love the fact you can go back several times and have different outcomes!" comment

14. Caroline von Kessler Stories 2 - Princess Caroline

-- Story summary: the American ex-living-crash-test-dummy girl Caroline becomes a princess in Germany, but she experiences that being a member of the royal family isn't as easy and carefree as she dreamt of it before.  A life-changing event, the arrival of an old enemy, and a serious  concern about her twin sister force her to re-arrange her priorities and  make far-reaching decisions.

-- Personal note: story No. 14. This is my second first-person story. Using a non-linear timeline,  I changed the ordinary way of my story-writing, and I disclosed all the  twists and spoilers in Part 1, so you can learn exactly what happens,  and how this story ends, and you don’t need to read the remaining  chapters, and you can save your precious free time!

-- Features: female: DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSAC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, RC, SAC, SSC, neck brace, paralysis / male: DHSC.

-- Genre: political drama, family drama.

-- Published: August - October 2016. Revised: September - November 2021.

-- Length: 21 chapters, approx. 38,000 words, estimated reading time: 2 hour 30 min.

-- "Many marriages of convenience are concluded in the nobility. Here comes the next one!" comment

13. The Curse of Friday the 13th, Day 4 and Beyond

-- Previously entitled: A Curse of Friday the 13th IV (Endgame)

--Story summary: after surviving the three full body casts that the Curse of Friday the 13th caused, Julie and Mike make a seemingly brilliant plan to cheat the curse. However, their idea backfires, and everything goes downhill, before the hope can return.

-- Personal note: story No. 13. Being something like an epilogue, this story doesn't tell the events of only one day, but it chronicles a longer period (the fourth and fifth Friday the 13th, and some days before and after them); (2016) - It should have been the perfect story: my 13th story, written about the Curse of Friday the 13th, consisting of 13 chapters, and ending on 13 May 2016, Friday... But my mood had left its mark on the original storyline, and it became so unbearably melodramatic, and now, my task was to cut back the overemotional parts (2021).

-- Features: female: AFC, DHSC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, SLC / male: -.

-- Genre: drama, magic realism.

-- Published: April - May 2016. Revised: June 2021.

-- Length: 7 chapters, approx. 12,700 words, estimated reading time: 55 min.

-- "Wohoo, Julie is back. Looking forward to the accidents that will happen to that poor woman." comment

12. Identity Theft

-- Story summary: once upon a time, there was a girl named Anita who left her superrich family to look for adventures, and there was another one called Norma longing for a better life. By switching them, the Fate strangely gave both of them what they wanted. After a decade, the paths of the two women crossed each other again, culminating in a catfight scene where no price was too high for Norma to protect her new life, her new family and billions of dollars.

-- Personal note: story No. 12. (A non-series story.) The story, which began with a correctable blunder in a hospital, ended in a somewhat controversial fight scene. I hope it wasn't my "jumping the shark". (2015) No, it wasn't  When I drafted and wrote this story, and especially Part 17, I was not in a good mood (ahem, seriously understated). If I would write this scene now, I would surely do it differently, and it wouldn't be that explicit. However, I won’t change it, and leave it as it was (more or less). Let it be a memento for bad times. (2021)

-- Features: female: DLAC, DLLC, DSAC, DSLC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, SAC, SHSC, SSC, bandages, noseguard, paralysis / male: -.

-- Genre: drama.

-- Published: December 2015 - February 2016. Revised: March - May 2021.

-- Length: 20 chapters, appx. 35,200 words, estimated reading time: 2 hour 25 min.

-- "Wow! I wish I could also be part of this story! Only I don't know how I would have been immobilized as arms and legs are already taken... I can't wait to read how it continues." comment

11. Day of the Wolf 2 - Enemy Within

-- Previously entitled: A Wolf's Day 2 - Enemy Within

-- Story summary: a new day has come, and a new enemy has emerged. But one thing has stayed the same: Agent Janet Wolf is as fearless and determined as she always was. To deal with the most dangerous threat she has ever faced, and to prevent the complete collapse of the government, she literally breaks the enemy without hesitation, because time is running out. She has only 24 hours.

-- Personal note: story No. 11. (Janet Wolf story series.) It's an unreal real-time story that recounts only the most important minutes of each hour. Sometimes I feel a kind of drive to write Z-grade stories, and it was one of them.

-- Features: female: AFC, DLAC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, RC, SAC, SHSC, SLC, SSC, amputee, bandages, blindness, corset, disability, jaw brace, paralysis / male: paralysis.

-- Genre: fan fiction, action drama, crime thriller.

-- Published: Prelude (Sweet Dreams Turning Sour): October 2022, Enemy Within: August - October 2015. Revised: Prelude (Sweet Dreams Turning Sour): -, Enemy Within: October - December 2020.

-- Length: 24+3 chapters, approx. 46,200 words, estimated reading time: 3 hour 5 min.

-- "Outstanding chapter! You truly are mastering the art of suspense. I can't wait for Hour 16 to know the outcome of this ordeal!" comment

10. Caroline von Kessler Stories 1 - Living Crash Test Dummies

-- Story summary: After suffering an awkward accident, Caroline discovers a whole new side to herself: she enjoys wearing casts. Following an embarrassing event in a hospital, she goes for her dreams and gets a job at the Special Vehicle Safety Test Inc. There, she makes new friends and uncovers a long-forgotten family secret.

-- Personal note: story No. 10. This is my first first-person story. Of course, this isn't about my life, but it can contain some sporadic hints. Originally, I wanted to write a serious story about the Special Vehicle Safety Test Inc. and its crash testers, but then I became completely captivated by the main character, Caroline von Kessler. In the end, she stole the show and turned it into a comedy. Please forgive me.

-- Features: female: DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, SHSC, SLC, SSC, disability / male: -.

-- Genre: comedy.

-- Published: April - June 2015. Revised: July - September 2020.

-- Length: 21 chapters, approx. 32,400 words, estimated reading time: 2 hour 10 min.

-- "Great chapter as usual. I love the pace you write your story as far as how much you include from chapter to chapter and leave just enough out to build suspense for the next chapter. Keep up the good work" comment

9. Insurance Fraud

-- Story summary: Beth and Frank come up with a bold plan to break their bones on purpose to get a good amount of easy money. Then she finds out that this seemingly insignificant insurance fraud set in motion an incredible chain of events, connecting an ambitious housewife with a talented NASA scientist. What's more, she learns how a huge house mortgage can pave the way to exploring our Solar System. Romance, religion, science, and large casts all inside!

-- Personal note: story No. 9. (Non-series story.) There’s a couple who need money, so they decide to hurt themselves to get it. It’s a pretty simple idea, isn’t it? But as I was writing the story, the plot spiralled out quite quickly into something I hadn't thought of when I had started. Suddenly, I found myself searching the internet to find out how long it would take for astronauts to travel to the Mars, or to learn about the seven deadly sins.

-- Features: female: DHSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, RC, SAC, SLC, SSC, bandages, braces, disability, myopia, neck brace, paralysis / male: -.

-- Genre: crime fiction, romance drama.

-- Published: January - March 2015. Revised: January - March 2018. Revised: July - September 2023.

-- Length: 22 chapters, approx. 40,600 words, estimated reading time: 2 hour 45 min.

-- "Absolutely loved it! Wasn't expecting the Religion x Science conflict at all, but it made for a great turn! Great job!" comment

8. The Curse of Friday the 13th - Day 3

-- Previously entitled: A Curse of Friday the 13th, Day 3

-- Story summary: Mike and Julie are on a desperate mission to find help on Earth (even under the ground) or in heaven to save her from ending up in a full body cast for the third time. Is there any way she can hide from the Curse? Or should she put up a fight against it?

-- Personal note: story No. 8. What began as a black comedy has become a despairing struggle. Who can help them, and how? The army, a wizard or the church?

-- Features: female: DLLC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, SAC, SHSC, SSC, VP, neck brace / male: FBC.

-- Genre: (black) comedy, magic realism.

-- Published: December 2014 - January 2015. Revised: June - July 2018. Revised: March - April 2023.

-- Length: 9 chapters, approx. 17,000 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 10 min.

-- "Great story with a wonderful final twist!" comment

7. Postmodern Pygmalion

-- Story summary: fallen from high society, the famous fashion model Sharon Galatea is now faced with the stark reality of living with large and massive plaster casts. While treating her, Dr Peter Malion meets the greatest chance of his life and finds love. A new, postmodern reinterpretation of an ancient mythological story about a sculptor named Pygmalion, who fell in love with his own enchanting statue, Galatea.

-- Personal note:  story No. 7. (Non-series story.) The analogy was so obvious and unmissable: the ancient Cypriot sculptor carved a woman from ivory, while the modern-day doctor applies a full body cast to his female patient.

6. Timelined 2 - 1963

-- Previously entitled: A Story of Time Traveller 2 - 1963

-- Story summary: Sarah's dreams seem to come true when she travels back to Dallas in 1963, but she doesn't get exactly what she wished for. Instead of just observing the events from the sidelines, she ends up getting involved in several incidents and accidents. To make things worse, she’s investigated by two enthusiastic FBI agents, who want to know more about her time-travelling business.

-- Personal note: Story 6. (Part of the "Timelined" story series.) The creation of the story started with a short sentence. In the first story, Sarah told her boss that she wanted to go back to Dallas in 1963. At the time, I meant it as a joke. But a little later, I wondered what would happen if she got (or didn't get) what she asked for. Then I added a subtle reference to "The X-Files" by including FBI agents Robert Fox and Diana Skelly, and I avoided mentioning anything about the assassination.

-- Genre: science fiction, historical fiction, fan fiction.

-- Published: October 2014. Revised: June - July 2016. Revised: March - April 2020

-- Length: 15 chapters, approx. 26,600 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 50 min.

-- "Sarah isn't the luckiest girl in this century. Damn, those people from the future are not able to watch their steps in the dangerous time of the past" comment

5. Day of the Wolf 1 - Broken Nation

-- Previously entitled: A Wolf's Day - Broken Nation

-- Story summary: in a thrilling race against the clock, Janet Wolf, a fearless anti-terrorist agent, has to save the nation from two serious, imminent threats: a group of determined terrorists with a special weapon of mass destruction and a sinister conspiracy within the very heart of the White House.

-- Personal note: story No. 5. A semi-humorous side note I wrote to a chapter of The Curse of Friday 13th story was the first step that lead this story: “The following takes place between 9:54 AM and 10:54 AM. Events occur in real time... I should have written a 24-chapter story" link
It’s an unreal real-time story telling merely the most important minutes of each hour. Sometimes, I feel a kind of drive to write Z-grade stories, and this was one of them.

-- Features: female: DLAC, DSSC, FBC, LLC, RC, SLC, SSC, amputation / male: AFC, FBC.

-- Genre: fan fiction, action drama, crime thriller.

-- Published: June 2014. Revised: January - March 2017. Revised: January - February 2020.

-- "Maybe, there are some people who call Janet a 'bitch'. But she is a true Hollywood action heroine." comment

-- Personal note: story No. 4. It would have been a crime not to carry on with a story with so much promising potential. So, on the morning of the second Friday the 13th, Julie leaves her home, ready to meet her Destiny.

-- Features: female: DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, SHSC, SLC, SSC, splints / male: -.

-- Published: May 2014. Revised: November 2016. Revised: October 2019

3. Cast Plague

-- Previously entitled: The Plague

-- Story summary: a new and mysterious disease, coming from the depths of the jungle, infects more and more people. Spreading like wildfire, it not only breaks bones, and puts patients in casts, but it also slowly tears up the fabric of society, and changes Jane's and Sandra's life forever.

-- Personal note: story No. 3. (Non-series story.) What if someone had a cast that was contagious? This was my first idea for this story. But I realised something: it's not the cast that needs to be contagious, it's the disease itself. That's how this story came to be.

-- Features: female: DHSC, DLAC, DLLC, DSSC, FBC, LAC, LLC, MC, RC, SSC, VC / male: SLC.

-- Genre: medical thriller, techno thriller.

-- Published: April - May 2014. Revised: May - July 2015. Revised: November 2018 - January 2019.

-- Length: 20 chapters, approx. 35,300 words, estimated reading time: 2 hour 20 min.

-- "It's a very new idea, not seen before. Congratulations. Please, keep on posting. Thanks" comment

2. Timelined 1 - 1961

-- Previously entitled: A Story of Time Traveller 1 - 1961

-- Story summary: Sarah Peters, a young and inexperienced time travel agent, is given a routine assignment and sent back to 1961. All she has to do is check if a photograph, which was published in an old newspaper, showing a patient in a full body cast, is real or not. But things doesn't go precisely as planned.

-- Personal note: story No. 2. (First part of the time traveller stories.) Because I didn't want to write an "I-went-skiing-and-I-broke-my-leg" story, so I had to come up with something else. For example, a story with plaster casts in sci-fi settings. The heroine travels back in time to a bygone era, when huge plaster casts were totally normal.

-- Features: female: FBC / male: -.

-- Genre: science fiction, historical fiction.

-- Published: March 2014. Revised: March 2016. Revised: August - September 2019

-- Length: 11 chapters, approx. 19,800 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 20 min.

-- "Thanks for an excellent and very creative story! (...) Would love to read more of your work!" comment

1. The Curse of Friday the 13th - Day 1

-- Previously entitled: A Curse of Friday the 13th, The Very First Day

-- Story summary: having made a huge mistake, which was quite costly for her client, the young and talented lawyer Julie Warden finds herself under a curse. On Friday the 13th, she gets involved in a series of serious accidents, and after every mishap, her casts just become bigger and bigger, and there's still so much time until midnight.

-- Personal note: this was my very first story. It's a kind of black comedy inspired by the fascinating stories of the good old stories.cast-site.com (Unfortunately, this site was shut down a couple of years ago.)

-- Features: female: DHSC, DSLC, DSSC, FBC, LLC, MC, SHSC, SLC, SSC / male: -.

-- Genre: (black) comedy, magic realism.

-- Published: February 2014. Revised: November 2015. Revised: May 2019.

-- Length: 9 chapters, approx. 16,600 words, estimated reading time: 1 hour 10 min.

-- "Love the accident scene. I always liked movies where a protagonist was the victim of a curse or bad luck that made her have one accident after another and each time ended up with more casts and braces. Love this one. I remember me reading this a long, long time ago." comment
