Pinkie Pie now belongs to Unearthly-One!

She's all done! This took me 5 days from start to finish, though I admit there was a day or so I didn't really do much of anything, and I worked on and off quite a bit. XD;; I've had my sewing machine for one full year, and really haven't used it much, so this is my first actual project I've made with my machine and I'm so happy!

Her eyes are made of felt that I printed on, which my printer didn't make them as clean as I had hoped, so maybe I'll try painting those next time also, so the colours pop more. Also my printer's ink isn't great and I don't wanna buy more, haha. :u

I just love the way her mane turned out though! She even has an accurate front-view since I did the mane in 3 separate pieces. Her tail may need to be bigger, but I'm not so sure. I had my pattern larger but I shrunk it because I didn't wanna make it huge. xD Next Pinkie I'll make it bigger and see how I feel! What do you think?

  DETAILS  

 Height:  15.5" to the tallest part of her mane

 Length:  16" from tip of nose to farthest end of tail

 Eyes:  Printed on felt using your average household printer, attached with fabric glue

 Cutie Marks:  Balloons are felt painted with Master's Touch brand acrylic paints and attached with fabric glue, and strings are hand sewn with embroidery floss

 Fabric:  Her body is Hot Pink Minky, and her mane and tail are Fuchsia Minky

 Interior:  Morning Glory brand premier polyester fiberfill, plastic pellets, and craft foam in the front of the ears

Other:  Everything is machine stitched, except for the areas I left open to put the stuffing in. Those ares are closed up with a ladder stitch. Her mane parts, ears, and tail are also attached with ladder stitches. The lines and curls in her mane/tail were done with one of the built-in stitches on my sewing machine, that I adjusted the size of, since I don't have an embroidery machine. Though even when I get one, I may stick with this method anyways, since I kind of like it!
