Rachel Hurd Wood - Portrait Practice

This is a portrait of her role in the movie "Perfume" I think. I must admit, I know nothing about her or this movie; I wanted to practice painting wavy hair so I started searching for random photos... I instantly felt in love with her face
First real piece I haven't done with Gimp ! I wanted to do a fully rendered piece with MyPaint to see if I can achieve the same level than with Gimp. I think the answer is yes I really enjoyed painting with this software, I got used to it very quickly and I find the brushes very comfortable to work with. If you're interested, I'm using Deevad 's brush kit. He's an amazing painter; don't hesitate to check his stuff !
