I kind of like video games :B. I'd like to take a picture of each one individually and all their goodies some time. Left to right, top to bottom: Sega Genesis Model 1, Wii, Xbox 360, PS2, Genesis Model 2 with 32X and CD attachments, Magnavox Odyssey 2, Atari 2600, GameCube, Sega Saturn model 1, Xbox, Magnavox Odyssey, Super Nintendo, Dreamcast (9/9/99), Sega Sports Dreamcast, Dreamcast (Oct 1999), Genesis Model 2, Genesis 3, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, PSP, Saturn Model 2, Sega SG-1000, Sega Master System, N64, NES, Genesis Model 1 (High Definition), Nintendo Game Boy, Sega Game Gear. Collecting games isn't a hobby, it's an addiction. Don't start.

Nice Magnavox you got there. How do I get one?

I got mine online years ago for like $90. Looks like they just keep going up like everything else.

wow, 90 bucks, that's the rarest price I can find.

That is an awesome collection :wow:

Do all of them still work well?

All of them plus a few more I picked up with the exception of the Xbox 360. It died hard.

I had a few friends repair their Xbox 360 from buying parts off eBay. So you might be able to repair it unless the entire insides are fried.

Yeah, from what I can tell the GPU is done. I got one of the slim models to replace it, though.

I like how you have a white and a black Dreamcast.  You have so many consoles you could start a game console museum.

That would be fun. It'd cost too much unfortunately. Hopefully at the very least I can get a cool game room going.

Awesome! I've got a couple more now. I wish I had the floor space in this room to take another picture like that of it updated.

my roommate will sell me his magnavox odyssey 2 for 30 but I'm a little nervous the picture isnt clear on it, I think its the ac adapter since the cables have been spliced together on it you have any thoughts on this?

Hard to say. Luckily the cables on an Odyssey 2 can be pretty easily replaced.

The ac adapter should just be a 11.5V power adapter. I'd recommend one of those variable adapters with the different plug tips and that little switch on back (seen here: ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I…. 11.5V is kind of a hard one to find sometimes, but they're around. If you're not horribly worried about it I'd play it on 12V.

The video cable just goes into an RCA style plug attached to the board, so if it's missing the switch box it needs or has a bad chord you can just run an RCA cable to the board and attach one of those Coax adapters (seen here: www.computercablestore.com/ima… on the end that goes to the TV. Both of those items should be at various stores. I found some at Walmart before.

The controllers are what I'd worry about most, but they're pretty tough. They're kind of odd beasts and a little hard to repair from what I can tell, but then again I'm an amateur at such things. $30 seems like a decent price though if it turns out to work, even if it needs a little tune up here and there.

yeah the video cable is fine and the controllers are too this is a non hardwired controller model. just wierd fuzzy lines when playing and that spliced ac adapter just seems jenky, I heard I could use a atari 2600 ac adapter on my model since the power adapter is like a headphone jack style 3.5mm

www.the-nextlevel.com/odyssey2… Looks like this might help a little bit.

Ah. Yeah mine's different all around. I don't know much about the other models of Odyssey 2, unfortunately.
