never grow up.
I have a monster living underneath my bed.
He’s made up of burnt frog skin, white-red cobweb veined eyes and a collection of missing pebble teeth. Sometimes we play scrabble.
(The first time he was just a mechanical hum beneath the bowing wooden planks, he was just a faint smell of green and he was just a hot cloud of fog around my lips. It’s the wind, it’s the wind, I breathed. Then he breathed back, heavy and loud and monster-like; AM NOT.)
He always spoke in capitals; MONSTERS ARE MUCH TOO SCARY FOR LOWER-CASED LETTERS, he informed me one night under pink covers. I shined the flashlight into his eyes until they changed colour and he bared his teeth.
He sometimes visits my dreams. The grass turns sickly where he trudges and the woodland creatures whimper and scramble in his wake. WHERE’S MY HUG? He holds his warm monster limbs out, palms snatching me from my happy-ever-after and grins gap-toothily. I manage a chuckle as I buckle in his embrace.
He used to keep me

This semester has been so ridiculously busy.  I'm working my butt off in my Senior year and it seems to be paying off.  My design skills have vastly improved and I've become more aware of the content of my drawings.  I cannot wait to photograph my pieces from both this semester and last semester!  I think you will be surprised :)  Until then I hope you can enjoy my packaging designs!

Yeah a little complicated maybe, haha. Do you have any idea if anyone else from Plattsburgh is on here?

I like your deviant ID. I'm a kickboxing instructor myself,I've also trained in Mauy Thai and MMA. I'm looking to do college soon, I don't seem to find anything that intrested in.
Is a degree in fine arts under BA (bachelor of arts)? I'm looking for something similar but can't find anything in this country.
I don't know why I shared that but I just felt like.

There is the BA (bachelor of arts) and then the BFA (bachelor of fine arts). The BFA is more credit intensive and is suggested as a major whereas the BA is suggested for those who want to major in something else but would like a minor in the visual arts. Many State university of New York schools have BFA/BA programs (Fredonia, Oswego, Oneonta, Plattsburgh, New Paltz and more) and many specialized private school have BFA/BA. Good luck finding something :) Make sure to look at faculty and student work to see if the school is doing what you want! A good foundation is key and it's also a good idea to take art history courses, you need to know what history is so you can learn from it!
