Thirst For Life

This is my entry for the Share One Planet competition. All of the animals depicted here are endangered to some degree.

The category I entered was 'Harmony', in which you had to show humans and animals in a peaceful state. I realized this was going to have to be a fantasy piece, because you can't realistically have all these animals around each other with a bloodbath!

The children here are representing the 'future kings and queens', rulers who will preserve balance between themselves and animals.

This was a challenging image for sure! And very different from what I usually do, but it definitely bridges the gap between my Simpsons animation background and current positions as a sci-fi/fantasy conceptual artist

All done in Photoshop and Painter.
