My photography journal project is something that has evolved over time, it has been disrupted and some of it has been destroyed over the years during psychotic breaks, one of my breaks is illustrated by the C64 filter on a series of pictures in 2016, which is just a coincidence, I had become obsessed with that filter at the time. The entire project started before I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was just a celebration of life, family, and friendship. My photography has been a source of joy in dark times as well. The locations are mostly in Calgary but also include Vienna, Cologne, Roxheim, Berlin, Budapest, Székesfehérvár, British Colombia, and Paris. Some notable people I have taken photos of appearing in this journal are former Emperor Akihito & Empress Michiko, Thomas Klestil, Malcolm McDowell, Garret Wang, Jagmeet Singh, Naheed Kurban Nenshi, Garret C. Smith, Will Wheaton, Yves Engler, Rachel Notley, and Clemens Berger. I will continue to add to this journal for as long as I can. This is guerilla photography.
