Background Information

Breeder: --

History: Originally trained as a police horse Kobal served several years under an older officer, then was unfortunately injured by a stray bullet in a shootout. The wound healed in time, but he was retired early and has wound up at DWR to live out the rest of his life.

Temperament: Gentle and unexcitable Kobal is now a respected "elder" and is often asked for advice by the other horses, and used as a teacher for new human riders. He treats everything with good humor and a solid temperament and doesn't shy at loud noises or things in his path.
He has a good many stories about his time as a police horse and regards those as the glory days, even if he isn't all that old. He has a fondness for sweets and small children.
He is best friends and mentor for Caydee, who was bought specifically to be his driving partner.

Quirks: Dislikes things sneaking up on him from the left, as he's still a little shy from the gunshot, which was fired and grazed his left flank. Dislikes older female riders, although he doesn't mind girls. Instinctively puts himself between others and loud noises or new people, as well as patrolling the pastures when he feels restless.
