I'm going to remember 343 Guilty Spark, the FIRST insane blue light robot.
So Wheatly stood in suspended animation and stayed in orbit for 60 years until the apocalypse happened. Then he fell back to Earth and was salvaged, repaired, and retrofitted. Now here he is.
