I loved the direction of the gesture of her head as well as where her eyes are looking at...
But none the less: have you ever tried flipping her horizontally?

So such the the flow of the particles will be enhanced by our eyes reading from left to the right. In this case they scatter more but in the latter they would spread to position faster with an acceleration.
