Honestly, the Jailer is one of my favourite WoW villains, and it's because he's clearly meant to be mysterious and unknowable. We'll learn more about him over time, even post-mortem. It won't be the first time a character's been developed post-mortem (see Neltharion/Deathwing in Dragonflight, or Blackhand in basically everything) and it won't be the last.
He did look better when he got his clothes (armour) back though. XD
This is cool too though, loved Hearthstones splitting the difference a bit.
