Description
"Chewie" Is my latest piece for the 2019 Star Wars Celebration Chicago Art Show. Licensed by LucasFilm.ldt this limited edition print will be available at the show with only 250 copies.
I was inspired to create something new and outside my confort zone for this one. I took samplings from many different things, from street art, geometric tattoos to Mexican Alebriges for vibrancy and color. I really wanted to highlight Chewbacca, the most loyal and amazing companion of the series. I really hope people like it as much as I loved creating it.
The original painting is on a hot press illustration board using watercolor.
