resident Evil 1_2_3 monsters 02

my second Resident Evil Drawing. These are some of the monsters from RE1,2 and 3.
Bottom left is the Licker from RE2, colours are a bit crazy, looks like he's wearing a brain hat. I did like giving him a purple tongue, putting purple and green together makes me smile .
Top left is called a brain sucker/ Drain demo from RE3, he's pretty darn ugly, I'm glad I managed to capture that ugliness from the game, (he reminds me of the 1986 fly movie) but he's a total push over in the game, going down with 1 or 2 shotgun rounds.
The top right is the Hunter, aka You hoo, free decapitations, coming in hot. Next is a Hunter Gamma from RE3, he looked like a giant frog and could swallow you whole. For some reason I find him quite endearing, lol.

Bottom Middle is William Birkins third mutated form. I rather liked how he looked in the original RE2, cos in Darkside chronicles they changed his design a bit to more reflect the original sketch. But to me it didn't look right, he seemed way too angelic and "perfect" to me. I can get behind what capcom was going for, but to me it didn't ever really sit well with me. So I tried to make him look like a bit more of a mess, Asymetrical while assimilating some of the good ideas from Darkside chronicles. In my opinion coming up with a happy go between of designs.

And finally is the Nemesis, showing off his uncanny ability to dodge Rockets in RE3, that guy just doesn't care! I totally Drew his legs WAY too short, I don't know what I was thinking. i will do better next time!

(lol, looking at the colours now, these monsters would fit right in the original 80's Ninja Turtles cartoon, remember all the Gawdy yellows and purples and greens going on in that show, GLORIOUS! ^_^)
