INSTALL :
1) FIRST, DOWNLOAD AND RUN THIS Universal Theme Patcher IN ADMINISTRATOR MODE (right-clic > "Run as administrator"), UAC must be turned off
After patch, restart computer to take effect.
2) extract content ("Soft7 2.0.theme" & "Soft7 2.0" folder) into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
and double-click on Soft7 2.0.theme
Then restart Windows in order that everything take effect ! (or only the explorer.exe if you know how to do it)
To change the navigation buttons you have to change your ExplorerFrame.dll :
Windows Theme Installer by Kishan-Bagaria
(Works only for the explorerframe.dll in "System32", so perfect for Windows 7 32bits. However, for Windows 7 64bits you'll also have to change the second explorerframe.dll (32bits) manually in the folder written below)
For 32bits Windows 7 :
Explorerframe.dll 32bits > "C:\WindowsSystem32"
For 64bits Windows 7 :
Explorerframe.dll 64bits > "C:\WindowsSystem32"
Explorerframe.dll 32bits > "C:\WindowsSysWOW64"
Yes, these are the right folders ! 64/32 and 32/64

It's deviantART's fault. All download links in all deviations idiotically expire and become broken when their deviation pages are left opened for a while (which is normal, since we're busy doing something else meanwhile). We need to go back and reload the page (and if something else comes up, like me typing this comment, it's going to get broken again). So if I happen to have other deviations opened right now and I want to download them, with the time I spent here, I'll have to reload all those pages to get working links. It became like this after an update.
I just want to say, this theme is sublime.
Many other themes here have issues when using programs like LibreOffice, Skype, and countless others. Sometimes the theme prevents text from being readable, sometimes a dark theme contains unstyled bright parts in a dropdown menu. Sometimes a program forces(?) a dark text font which clashes with a dark theme.
Sometimes the taskbar and start menu clash when atop a bright backdrop, making the text unreadable. While I did have to adjust the translucency of the theme for maximum readability, other themes cannot be tweaked effectively. I have not encountered such an issue with this theme, I assume because it follows more closely to the luminosity of the original Windows themes and doesn't try anything too crazy.
I personally would not use the ExplorerFrame.dll patch, as I have run into multiple problems with patched dll/exe's. I prefer to use UxStyle, which is unobtrusive.
Even without the patch, the theme complements the original icons very well. Kudos.

I pulled these bitmaps from the included ExplorerFrame.dll using Resource Hacker. Hope the author doesn't mind.

I think your Windows doesn't have the same zoom options as the one by default and there's different pictures for the different zoom, and that's why you don't see any change. And I haven't done the bigger versions sadly...
To check that: on your desktop, right-click > Screen Resolution > Make text and other items larger or smaller, and see the zoom. On Windows 7 I think there's 100% (default for most screen), 125% and 150%. But some screen definition change the zoom to make it appear at a better size to be able to read, especially small screens.
