Here is my first artwork for 2006 !
Eris can be seen as an allegory of jealousy, and that is what I wanted to portray here : insecurity, pain, frustration, misunderstanding, mixed feelings...
I have chosen the colour red, which I've hardly never used before, to lay the stress on the violent and destructive aspects of jealousy.
For this artwork, I have combined elements borrowed from the Art Nouveau style and particularly from Mucha, combined with my traditional technique of photomanipulation, as well as some digital painting for the background.
