Chapter 3: Everyday Thing The darkness was everywhere. Green was scared. The gun in his hands, seem to pull him down with every step he took. His eyes searched for any sign of life, but he found none. His breathing was getting heavy, as the hair started to stand up on the back of his neck. The next thing he knew, he felt a heavy pressure on his chest. He wanted to scream, but his body wouldn't let him. He wanted to run, but he was frozen in place. The golden metals reflected off of the light of the room, where passer by's knew to solute to a high ranking General. His stern face, matched his clicking pace in the hall way. "General King!" A boy ran through a screaming battlefield. I sense of hope flew around him as he charged forward into the dancing shrapnel and buzzing bullets. With an AK47 strapped around his body, the boy looked ready to mow down anyone in his way. "My name Nathanial. I'm going to save the Wo-*" Pa-tink The single noise that ended the boys life.
