Aledin (Alejandro Dini) is professional Italian illustrator and artist who has lived a half of his life in Italy and another half in Hong Kong.
In 2015 as a result of a liberating stylistic exploration (one that could more effectively be the conduit of his aesthetic visions) he adopted (or rather "unveiled") a digital painting technique that to his surprise revealed the unconscious influence of early modernists such cubists, expressionists and symbolists. His themes revolve around metaphorical storytelling, mysticism and existential philosophies.
Despite having adopted the digital medium as primary form of expression, his approach remains classical: a stroke by stroke painterly approach, for the most part on a single layer.
Some of his work as been sold as NFT in Foundation and DaVinci Gallery.
This gallery in Deviantart features earlier work (before 2015) together with the most recent ones, easily distinguishable by the stylistic difference.
