He is the Woe

He reminds me of the Black Rabbit from "Watership Down"...just obviously a deer instead of a rabbit (and definitely more graceful).

This drawing immediately reminds me to that creepy horse-thing from Harry Potter (Thestral). Nice work, anyway.

I like this twist of symbolism. I often see stags representing life, protection, renewal (like in Fantasia 2000's Firebird Suite, Harry Potter's Patronus, etc.) But I enjoy your creativity in showing a stag embodying the opposite of all those things while still maintaining the beauty and allure those creatures naturally carry. Very cool!
