AVCon 2012 Gold Pass T-Shirt Design

I couldn't enter the T-shirt comp this year (apparently I couldn't last year either but evidently I sucked at reading rules then) but I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to do the gold pass design.

This was one of the first ideas to pop in my head (as well as the idea of using 'contoured' lines to define the characters) so I was very pleased to get the chance to polish it up. The first concept I drew up can be seen here: [link]
