Creative Near-Sightedness. Do you have it?Thanks to a brief comment recently made by a friend, it spurred me into coining the phrase 'Creative Near-Sightedness' to describe something I've battled with and continue to battle with, throughout my journey. I hope that this might make some sense to others out there and shed some similar light on your situation like it has mine., I thought I'd make a goal for myself and setup some small objectives within it.
I have achieved some of the big goals I've set myself in life, but have always had trouble with achieving some of the more creative goals, due to the fact that, they are often rather ambiguous to begin with, for example:
How do you quantify / visualize a goal like 'I want to be a good artist' when being good is completely relative?
So firstly I want to break it down into a couple of things that might seem simple commonsense, but in my case something I need to constantly remind myself of:
The first thing is: Keep the major goal clear and simple!

Sad, sad days.
Well, on Thursday before class my tablet pen broke, so I'll be doing a ton of sketches to get some ideas together! I need to increase my costume and species creativity!!
So it's a downside, but an upside too I suppose :D.
Soldier in need! Help him out!
Well, !Robaato (https://www.deviantart.com/robaato) needs help. His computer went completely sludge and he is doing commissions to get enough money to get his computer fixed. Basically, I'm asking anyone who can afford it and likes his work to aid in helping him out.
My work isn't the greatest, but if you rather me do a full color sketch (of one character) for $10, it'll be going to him to help him out. It's like 7 more for each extra character in it.
It's for a good cause, so help out if possible!
1 Hour self coloring challenge!
For a while, 'til I get the hang of it I'm going to be blocking in colors once a day.
Being honest, I need to hone in on coloring, and I'm kind of bad at it, so putting in a conscious effort seems like the only way to overcome my handicap LAWL.
'System 5', Comic design done.
This is pretty much done, there are only a few things that need to be altered. If anyone disagrees at any of their characters being in the comic, please send me a note or send a message. As a note all your characters will be copywritten to you at the end of every comic.
The Design Document for System 5:
Ale is a Sherrah from the planet Anesta, the land of the concrete dreamers. Sherrah are people that can summon objects planted deep in the subconscious; aka "dreams". Sherrah can only use this "dream" power when they have their birthright on/around them(in Ale's case his hat), and it can only pull out items that correspond to where the ob
