Malevolent. Treating me like my feelings irrelevant. Walk into the room and they're right there like the elephant. A life that slips away as the week begins, as the path through one's own life spirals downward you realize you must follow whatever path you are set on. Because be it days, weeks, or even months, your path will rise again. My path begins to incline, slowly but surely as a smile has returned to my expressionless face, only to decline as soon as things are comfortable again. It was dark and the streets were full. Many of us lined up on each side of the intersection like a giant game of dodgeball, but we knew what it really was. A game for our lives.
