The Story of Wally and Zoe's Friendship In 2003, when Wally was in kindergarten, he met a Yellow Kacheek he seemed to like. Her name was Zoe. Wally and Zoe got to know each other, and eventually became best friends. They shared classes all throughout elementary school. . . . In middle school, they only got to see each other at lunch, and in high school, they only saw each other in the halls, until. . . . Wally’s senior year, 2015-2016. He meets Zoe in his English class. In 2016, they graduated from high school, but their friendship didn’t stop there. Their friendship bond is still as strong as it was sixteen years ago.
Zoe's Diary - A Week with Friends, Day 2Tuesday, June 22, 2004Dear Diary, Today I had a blast playing with friends! We played all sorts of games and sang songs, and we had a lot of fun in doing so. I even learned a new game where you have to jump across a bunch of “lily pads” (they’re rubber circles) all the way to your “island” (past a rope) without “splashing in” (touching the grass). And, I learned two new songs. The first one got really funny when we had to stick out our tongues—we sounded goofy trying to sing with our tongues out! And the second one was super funny to me because it had brief kazoo breaks in it—I tried not to giggle, but couldn’t help myself! Anyway, those were the highlights of my day today. I'll see you soon.Sincerely,Zoe
