So I was tagged by :iconmajoraswaker:

The rules and stuff:
1. You must post the rules.
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in the post, and create 10 new questions for the people you tag to answer.
3. You have to choose 10 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
4. Go to their page and tell them you have tagged them.
5. No tag backs.
6. No stuff in the tagging section about "you're tagged if you're reading this"
You legitimately have to tag 10 people.
7. Don't read the rules. Nobody ever reads the rules.
8. Post the tagged journal on this journal.

My answers to MajorasWaker's questions:
1)  Best and worst childhood memories?
I don't know if these are necessarily the best and worst, just the first things that came to mind.
In elementary school, during winter we were allowed to bring these roll-up plastic sheets of sleds to school for recess. And some friends and I tied jump ropes to the handles, and then pulled each other around the field like sled dogs. It was great fun. Really quick way to break the handles of those sleds though XD
Then there was the time my younger brother hit me on the head with a baseball bat. He was practicing his form or something, and I was standing next to him (I think we also might have also been on top of a pile of woodchips for some unknown reason) and somehow he didn't see me there when I was LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT TO HIM (??) and the metal bat whacked me square on the ear. Ouch.

B)  What television show would you want to be real?
Ooh, good question. If I could make a show real, I would choose a show that I have a possibility of being part of the action with. For example, Once Upon a Time, I could travel to Storybrooke and interact with all their drama and craziness. Or Doctor Who, I could hitchhike in the Tardis if when it lands in my backyard. But Merlin, I would have no way of traveling back in time to get to Camelot. Basically, I'm selfish and want to have adventures.

3)  Which song was last stuck in your head/did you last hear?
Currently listening to my ipod, and the encore of the 10th anniversary Les Miserables concert is playing. It's this awesome multilanguage combination of "Do You Hear the People Sing" and "One Day More." Here, go listen to it:  www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu6P4T…

4)  Best app you have on your smartphone (if applicable)?
Sorry, I have a dumbphone. XD

6)  What do you want to be later, or what education did you follow to reach that goal?
(btw, MajorasWaker, you have a rather unique numbering system going on here. I did catch it at B; don't you think that I wouldn't notice)
I'm currently studying to be a biomedical engineer. When I graduate in a couple of years, I'll hopefully be doing some sort of biotech or pharmaceutical research and development.

5)  Favourite utensil?
I have this plain little knife that I'm quite fond of. Mostly I use it to cut up apples. Occasionally I stab my desk with it. (and I live in this historic dorm that has old wooden furniture. Oops)

7)  Would you want to live forever, if you were given that change?
Would I? I might be sorely tempted, but if I think about it too much, I'm not sure I'd would want to. There the fact that all of my friends would die, and I'd spend the rest of forever never seeing them again. And there's something that'll be lost in the appreciation of life if it's something that you'd be stuck with forever. And, see next question.

8)  Are you afraid of death?
I am a Christian, and I have faith that my fate after death is secure. I believe that I'll be in a greater place that is far beyond anything that could be imagined in this world, and in that case death doesn't seem so bad. But I'm quite content to be living now, it's just when death comes, it won't be something to fear.

9)  What do you like to put on your bread?
Nutella.

10) What's your favourite browser, and why?
I use firefox. Honestly, I'm pretty sure I keep it around cause I like the pretty customizable persona that you can decorate the internet window with. I like pretty things.

Now I have to think of questions? So much thinking involved…
1) What's a quote that you really like?
2) What's the best gift you've received?
3) What is one place in the world that you want to visit?
4) What's something that never fails to make you smile?
5) Who is your favorite person in history?
6) What's your favorite song?
7) Earth, air, fire, or water? And why?
8) What do you think is one of the best things about your personality? (go on, brag a bit, I know you're all awesome)
9) You have the opportunity to travel in time, but only one trip, there and back. Where do you go?
10) What is one thing that you are happy about in this very moment?

I'm not going to send you individual messages telling you to do this, cause I don't want to be annoying and force you to do things. But I would be interested to see what your responses are! I actually like those questions I came up with. So let me know if you do this, even if I didn't tag you :aww:

Hah, sledding is fun indeed, I always enjoyed doing that myself, and still do actually. Our neighbour would always use his skidloader to build us a sledding ramp, oh those were good times...
Being hit on the head isn't fun on the other hand, it must have been a shocking experience for you that you remember all the little details so well. =P
To be totally honest, all of the shows that I had thought up for myself also involved some master plan were I could be part of the story and do awesome things. ^^;
Quite a nice song, I had it playing in the background but didn't realize that they were doing each language, until one guy just began singing in Dutch. XD
Dumbphones also have their advantages, I could use my old Nokia for two weeks flat without a charger, and I can't do that anymore.
My, Biomedial engineering sounds interesting, especially the medical devices look really cool! The numbering system was intended as an easter egg, I was curious how many people would catch it.
I also have some handy knives, you really can do anything with them, from cutting and stripping wires to cutting paper on size. One of the best inventions ever done.
Though living forever seems interesting as you would be able to see what humanity reaches in the future, it would also mean that all the decisions you made would chase you forever, so I'm not too keen on being immortal myself.
And hey, I didn't knew you are a Christian too, that's nice to know!
Nutella is great, whichever situation you'll find yourself in.
Firefox is indeed nice, I remember when my uncle showed me the halloween theme he installed when I was just a kid.

I like the questions you came up with, so I'm going to answer them even though you didn't tag me.
1) What's a quote that you really like?
'Nunquam singularis, Nunquam' -Vale Decem, 10th Doctor's regeneration or
'Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional' -?

2) What's the best gift you've received?
Probably Hyrule Historia which I got as a birthday gift from my parents.

3) What is one place in the world that you want to visit?
I can't think of anything, so I just say home.

4) What's something that never fails to make you smile?
Music.

5) Who is your favorite person in history?
The Doctor That would be Eise Eisinga because he just created a working orrery in his living room, and on top of that he's from the same country as me (call me patriotic if you will).

6) What's your favorite song?
One of my long time favourites is Exit by U2, or Stairway to Heaven.

7) Earth, air, fire, or water? And why?
Air, I always loved freedom, plus earth, water and fire are pretty hard to breath. ;)

8) What do you think is one of the best things about your personality? (go on, brag a bit, I know you're all awesome)
Almost always helping people out I suppose.

9) You have the opportunity to travel in time, but only one trip, there and back. Where do you go?
A most interesting question. Maybe a peek of the future?

10) What is one thing that you are happy about in this very moment?
That my computer hasn't died on me yet (a thing that happens way too often to me recently).

Wow, what a detailed reply! How nice :aww:

Yeah, biomedical engineering is great because there's just so much that you can do with it. Course, that means I have far too many options to choose from, and decision making isn't quite my forte... :XD:

So, did everyone catch your numbering easter egg?

Oh are you a Christian too? :highfive: And you're Dutch? I didn't know that. Awesome!

Yup, growing up is optional. Definitely how I live my life sometimes. Like my roommate and I built a giant blanket fort out of our college dorm room for her birthday and spent the day with crayons and coloring books. One of the best ideas ever. :dummy:

Taking a peek at the future would be super interesting. You can just imagine how shocked people a few generations ago would be if they could see all the technology we have now, and similarly how shocked we would be if we could glimpse the future :la: fun to think about, for sure.
MajorasWaker's avatar
Yup, everyone seemed to have catched the numbering.
And tell me about decision making, I usually spend half and hour in restaurants deciding what I should take. :P

Oh yeah, blanket fortress are great! Me and a friend build one once, but we didn't really plan it through. So when his mom entered the room the whole thing collapsed. Turns out that building a fortress against the door isn't such a good idea...

/late reply
AlatusAquae's avatar
Haha, the worst part about being terrible about making decisions is when you get stuck with another indecisive person. And then you sit there and stare at each other waiting for the other person to choose something. XD

aww, that poor blanket fort. :D Were you guys inside when it collapsed?

No problem about a late reply. I've been guilty of that far too many times myself....
MajorasWaker's avatar
Yes, tell me about that. :XD: Though the thing is, I can easily make big decisions, but when it comes to little things...

Yep, and let me tell you that it's quite a shocking experience when everything goes dark all of a sudden and you get a mattress on your head when you're eight years old.
AlatusAquae's avatar
Exactly! There's no middle ground for me on decisions. Once I make up my mind, I usually stubbornly refuse to change it again. So, either you get someone who's super indecisive, or you get someone who is obnoxiously set on one thing. :XD:

Ha, I bet that would be a shocking experience!

Don't have a clue. Sorry XD
10) What is one thing that you are happy about in this very moment?
In this very moment? Mhm, let me think... there are some: I made a biscuit-roll (chocolate and orange) I can eat in half an hour, a friend send me 200 Points (I told her not to do that...) and she draw me a base for my character sheet. =)
AlatusAquae's avatar
Yup, I tagged you! :aww:

ooh, Egypt would be great. I took a class about Egypt a couple semesters ago, and it was super interesting. That's also on my list of places to go.

huh, fire and water together? Interesting combination you've got there.
Leopard-Enya's avatar
Yes :) When I do an "Element test" it's always "40% Water, 40% Fire, 10% Air, 10% Earth.

Btw: The biskuit-roll really was delicous!
AlatusAquae's avatar
that's so interesting! You must have a pretty unique personality then :aww:

Oh yay! I'm glad that the biskuit roll was good! :D
Leopard-Enya's avatar
I sure have *hehe*

It was! But it is already gone :(
I have to make it again soon.
