This is a very nice piece of work. She looks very cute and the visuals are very nice. The setting is very nice. The clouds Ahhh.
However there are some flaws too( sorry). I don't get why her wings aren't connected to her body. There is some unneeded shading around her hair. And I think you should see the clouds a bit more.
Some things are also needed. For example, there should be a little more in the background. I also think Fluttershy should be wearing something like those angel outfits.
However it's a very nice piece of art. Great job!
Yay! Another picture for me to review, and it's of my favorite pony!
Now then, let's get down to brass tacks.
Well first up is the vision of the picture which, in my opinion, comes across well. It's your "Daily Dose of Cute" and it certainly showcases and captures that cuteness greatly. Pretty much everything about this picture just adds to the adorableness of the work as a whole. I absolutely love the pose that you set her in; it really makes her seem angelic. Her wings also reinforce this theme well, the fact that they are not attached to her body gives her a more celestial feel as well as angelic; needless to say, her halo makes it all the more apparent. Her expression radiates kindness, and this whole picture just gets the point across so well.
I'm going to be honest, as dishonest critiques are not critiques at all. Anyways, to be a bit straightforward, an adorable Fluttershy is not the most original. I'm not saying it's bad, not at all, but it is something that is a bit common with Fluttershy pictures. The angelic Fluttershy though isn't as common; at least from my browsing. I honestly don't feel like it's cliché, but I don't find it outstanding original either.
Just getting this out of the way, I'm such a sucker for your drawing techniques. The last picture I reviewed was "Thief Plotting" and I lauded your technique for drawing her hair. This one though, this just goes above and beyond that one. I can't stress enough just how much I love you drew her hair. It's wavy, it has sheen, and it has enough shading to make it really feel like hair. Her wings are very well drawn and her pose feels natural, it doesn't feel like she would be straining to maintain that pose while she was painted. Yet another part of your drawing abilities that I've always lavished is the way you draw eyes. I can't recall a single picture of yours off the top of my head where your eyes were sub-par. They are quite adorable and really fits her expression.
As far as impact goes, I think it is safe to say that this picture certainly left an impact on me. My heart was warmed by seeing this picture, and I was filled with happiness and endearment. You have certainly succeeded in instilling emotions into your viewers with this picture. A lot of what I mentioned in the "Vision" section of this review covers many topics of this section as well.
And so in conclusion, I think this is a very well drawn picture that gets its message across quite well. And though it is not absolutely original, it stands at the top echelons of adorable Fluttershy pictures; at least in my opinion. The technique is refined and your intention for this pictures really leaves a lasting impression. I always love reviewing your works, as they are truly amazing pieces.
