Rise Of The Terran Federation

From the Anthology edited by John F. Carr, based on the work of H. Beam Piper, commissioned and published by Pequod Press, June 2016.

H. Beam Piper's Terran Federation is the same timeline that includes "The Cosmic Computer" "The Merlin Gambit", and the "Space Viking" series (all in this gallery).

Here, I went back to my "roots" and sci-fi hardware, and did a wheel style space station, still more visually inspiring than the recent real one that may be more practical, but, oh well

The original stories by Piper, were written in the 50's and 60's (he died in 1964) and, this reflects the optimistic feel of space exploration I remember a a kid...I tried to get a "busy" look, of a rising empire in the colonization of space.
