Ice And Fire

From the card game "Star Of The Guardians" commissioned and published by Tracy Hickman & Margaret Weis, 1994.

This "System" card astronomical was somewhat more enhanced (digitally) than the original.

Considering the popularity of these type space paintings, I went with this, as a milestone of 800+ works in this gallery.

It's also the beginning of the end on the posts done here over the past 10 months since my "retirement" journal.

I counted over 170 works posted since then!

Most of these were discoveries in many different places, printed books, magazines, cards, plus archives on computers (including some in a external hard drive), CD's, my late Mother's collection, and finally, slides rescanned this month, using my old Canon9000F scanner.

There were also dozens of pinup works, reworked, and improved.

All of these sources have now been exhausted.

A few "discoveries" may be found in the future. There are many missing works, but as of now, nothing worthwhile remains that can be posted without lots of heavy digital restoration.

I plan to post a journal, in the next few weeks, of the artwork, and artists, that inspired me in my early years, many of whom I met, and many who are now gone...Until then, enjoy the galley and "blast off"!
