Event 7: Find the way part two

A  Fresh new day

After the big commotion on the merchant's base, there was a bit of conflict. Shroomsworth was trying to tell them to make the lines… but they were hesitated.  They knock out the door and grab all the letters, trying to find their partner's name. It wasn't a pretty sight when one or two started to fight each other as well. Then everything got loose. As I said before… it wasn't a pretty good sight.

However in the middle of the battle there was a new team that has start on their first day. They got in the bad time to see a battle field… and one of them accidently enters to the crowd. A Nervously Seedot name Zaniel, slowly trying to find the way out of there. As he goes, he has a very bad luck because he has an ability call "Pickpocket" that steals anything when someone touches him. One after another, he has been stealing a few letters on the way. He didn't mean to but it is his ability. What he can do?

Finally he made out, safe and no scratch on him… expect he has many mails on his head. "… Oh man. Not again..." He said to himself.

"Hey you made it out alive, Zanny!" said to his partner.

Flying down on him was a Pidgey name Megan. She is sometimes unusual girl. But mostly she could be nice… a little.

"Oh Megan, I stole it again…" He whined.

"Hey maybe we should become Rouges instead, I mean is better than Rescue right?"

"W-What?! No way! My dad use to be a rescue teams. I'm honoring him! I can't be rogues… it disrespectful."

"But come on.  With your ability we could be thick as thieves,"

"No means no, Meg,"

"… Ugh… whatever…" she scoffed. "So… what are you going to do all of these mails, Zan?" ask Megan.

"Well, we got to return those mails to others."

"Aww, Why 'We'?! Why can't YOU instead??" she whines.

"…Because… I don't have arms to deliver…"

"…right…" she notice. "… Fine, but can't you just give them back? I mean is not like they will…" she then saw of every exploration teams started rampage on each others.  One of them shoots out Water gun out in the air and the other shoots out Flamethrower. someone curses words out loud... it wan'ts pretty as i told you before.

"Um… it looks like we have to wait until they calm down," Said Zaniel.

"Yeah…" she nodded.

A few hours later after the conflict was over, the Windtakers started working. They deliver each exploration teams one by one. They first deliver mail was team Heal Bell.  Elysia, the leader of Heal Bell, were relief to hear her brother is still alive.

"Oh, Treble… you still okay…" She sniffed.

"See? I knew he will be okay, somewhere," said Kipton.

"Hey I was wondering," Megan interrupt them. "Where did you get that necklace? It looks so cool! Can I have it?"

"Oh umm… thank you but no. this is my brother, I can't give it to you,"

"Aww but it looks so pretty, you got to share it, girl." she begs.

"No means No!"

"SHARE IT!!"

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Elysia was trying to cover her brother's while Megan started pecking on Elysia's head. Then they started to fight. Megan has an obsession when comes accessories, she likes shiny objects and symbols of any logos. When she one to this, she will never stops until she gets one. Megan is… well probably an odd Pidgey.

"Hey, cool your partner off, will you?!" said Kip.

"Umm…"  Zaniel is very well known when Megan get's greedy. If he tries to spot her, she will throw him to the river. It happens once when Zaniel tries to wake Megan up. Then after that… you get the picture.

"L, l, let's just wait until she-she gets bored," Said Zaniel.

Zaniel has other problems as well. He gets nervous to see new faces. He always gets timing when someone is getting to close of him. He gets very awkwardly silent and tries to look other way. Zaniel is not a very best to talk on him, but at very least, he could still hang out for the moments… at the best.

A little while later, Megan and Zaniel had met another teams call Team Tempest.  Megan tried to deliver a mail when suddenly, a Sentret name Nym use Covet to grab the letter like blink of the eye. She didn't even wait until the mail was out.
 
"HEY! What was that for?!"  Megan protest.

"You guys stole it! So you're thieves!" Nym said.

"I didn't stole your mail, he did!"  She Pointed. Blaming Zaniel was the only thing she thinking of, for making her do the work.

"It-it was an accident! I, I was trying to see what's going on and, and… many teams started fighting… many mails…"

"It's okay, I'm just glad she written letter to me," said Oliver. "Now I know she is fine, I can finally going to show her of our new team. Once she comes back."

"Wait, you mean this pipsqueak is your new formal team?" asked Megan.

"Hey, I'm not a pipsqueak! You are!" She mock her.
 
"What?! Get real shrimpy! I'm the oldest one in here!"

"No you aren't,"

"Yes I am,"

"NO, you aren't!!"

"YES, I am!!"

"Umm, let's go deliver more mail, Megan." Zaniel hesitated.  It's a good thing he stops them before thing will get ugly.

Another minute later, they encounter Team Rowanberry. They are semi new of the teams. And just like the other two teams, they are missing one team.  A Chikorita name Chloe, the leader of Rowanberry, suddenly started to get avoided Megan.

"Hey, what's wrong? Did I did something wrong?" she asked.

"N-no... is just that… I have a fear of flying type… sorry if I'm offending you." said Chloe.

"Oh… don't worry… is fine." She lied. It hurt a little because she has a dark past that Megan didn't even tell Zaniel. Something about her past is almost connected to Chloe. Megan tries to forget and doing the work. "Well anyway, you got mail,"

Chloe carefully open the letter and started to read it. Chloe was surprise to see the letter; it was a blessing that she tear up on her cheek.

"Chloe what's wrong?" asked Opal.

"It's… its Myra. She's, she okay," she sniffed.

Megan and Zaniel were trying to figure it out of why everybody is worrying about. What's going on to this town that everybody is crying? What happen to their teams and where did they go? Zaniel was about to asked those questions. Nervously, but trying to speak.

"uhh...wh-what happen in here?" He finally asked.

"What? You mean you didn't know?" said Opal.

"We just got here and we just started on our first job… well more like 'accidently' but… is kind of long story."

"Oh, so you are new? What guilds did you chose?" said Chloe. She wiping out of her tears and trying to stay positive.  

"The rescue teams,"

"That's great to hear! We are rescue as well. Welcome to exploration teams."

It felt very encouraging to Zaniel. He always imagining of how Rescue teams do when they welcoming a new teams, like throwing parties or something. Zaniel suddenly felt like he shouldn't be worrying of them, they are rescue so is okay for him.

"Th-thank you very much. Why does everybody wanted those letters so badly? Is this how we get the mission every day?" He asks them.

Chloe suddenly went discourage. She was trying to cover her feelings because she didn't want them to feel sad on their first day.

"Chloe, I can tell them about-"

"No, no, is okay, Opal. I can do this," she continues. "Well… not long ago, this town had gotten disaster during the incidence of Sorbet. Then months later, the guild leaders order every exploration teams to started cleaning the town. That's when this Celibi name Jasmine, needed of our help to planted everywhere,"

Zaniel was surprise to hear a Celibi has come to Tao Village.  Zaniel saw them once when he was a little, he was born in a hidden village somewhere in the Tree of life. That's where all those Celibis go there a lot; somewhere in those forest there's a hidden lake that can regain their strength. That's what it said to his mother. He wanted to say about this… However, Chloe still continues talking.

"But… thing went horribly wrong when one Crazy Zoroark, kidnapped Jasmine during in the middle of the work. It was… really unexpected," Megan and Zaniel were stunned… it was too speechless.  

"One of those Zoroark's kids came and tried to warn us about the threats. She will kill Jasmine if anyone gets in her way. Mike and PK were planning of how we getting jasmine out..." She paused. Trying to forget of how she and her partner got separated to the Illusion woods.

"…when we were got close to the Zoroark, we were told to wait until PK gave us the signal. I don't what happens after that, we were kind of far away from them. I heard a shouted and I thought that was a signal so we were follows the plans... all of the sudden, a flash of light came and… everything went quiet."

"Everything went quiet?" Said Megan.

"At first, I thought it was another tricks in the woods that we were in… but when I trying look if everyone was fine… and just like that, my partner Myra… went missing."

"…M-m-missing?"Asked Zaniel.

"We were trying to find her for hours. And we haven't found her ever since,"
"And not just her," said opal. "PK, Mike, and all other teams are gone too,"
 
"w-what happens to them?!"

"We don't know, Fresnel told us that someone teleported got backfiring and that's all we heard."

"Thank you so much for giving this letter, it means so much to me." Said Chloe, trying to change the subject before she goes worse. "oh right, what are your names?"

"My name is Megan, and this is my partner Zaniel. We are team Windtakers" She proudly said. Even she didn't like when Zaniel gets into trouble, at least she like to be appreciated.

"Let's go Zanny, we got to mails to deliver," Suddenly her moods have change. Like she forgotten the mess they were in.

"Huh? Umm… sure..." Zaniel has this feeling that she is acting out. She probably gonna shouted him when they are alone. "See you later Chloe."

"If you needed help, just find us okay? We can tour you around the town and some of our friends"

The Windtakers were waving at them while walking along the way. Megan went on top of Zaniel to check how many they had.

"so... are you mad at me, Megan?" asked Zaniel.

"… A little. If we deliver these last mails, then I will forgive you." Zaniel was so relief to hear that.

"Cool… so what are we missing?"
"Well, have to find this girl name Zola. One for Anther, another to Storym and there's two letter that belong to the Wayfinders."

"Hey… do you think they were gone in the same place?"

"I just don't know Zan. Let just deliver these mails and we ask question later."

"… Okay…"

And so the team Windtakers continues.
