Deviation Actions
Happy Thursday, Core Members, and we've returned with the latest installment of the Thursday Prompt!
In last week's challenge, "Shimmer and Sparkle", you had to make fairy art in celebration of World Fairy Day! We have seen some amazing fairies of your own design, and we're really thankful you've made them. They really shimmer and sparkle!
Bearing that in mind, here are your winners!
Congratulations to @psto1464, @Marion-Aurore, @mene, @JoyCrux, @Everch, and @xtcgm! For creating some amazing fairies you've each won a three-month Core Membership and your own copy of The Complete Book of the Flower Fairies by Cicely Mary Barker.
We'd also like to give a shout-out to @Caz747, who made a jailed fairy that was too hard to ignore! For such an interesting piece, you've received a one-month Core Membership.
This Week's Challenge
If fairies exist, surely aliens do too, right?
We might want to keep in mind that today is World UFO Day, and whether or not there are aliens, there are flying objects out there that we can't explain. It may be a flying saucer, it may be a rocket ship, but whatever it is, we want you to make your own UFO!
Once you’ve uploaded it your deviation to DeviantArt, upload it to the "Rocket to the Moon" folder in @CoreMembers, then post it as a comment to this journal.
Rules
All works must be original works made specifically for the contest.
You can design your UFO in any style, and it does not need to have aliens if you don't want it to have aliens.
For visual works, if you are using works that are not your own, you must make sure you have permission to use those works and credit the artist(s) whose work(s) you've used.
For written works, works may be no longer than 2,000 words (for prose) or 30 lines (for poetry) in length.
Entries that are found to be in violation of the Etiquette Policy will be disqualified and removed.
Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, July 7 at 11:59 PM PDT (Los Angeles time).

Prizes
Six winners will be chosen, three each for visual and written deviations. Each winner will receive the following:
A one-month Core Membership for themselves
A one-month Core Membership for a friend who is not currently a Core Member
A $50 USD Amazon.com gift card
Winners will be announced in our next contest journal, to be posted on July 9, 2020.
Judging
Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and approach to the prompt.
Whether or not you truly believe in unidentified flying objects, truly there are some amazing things flying in space. Some of those may even be of your own design. Good luck!
