It dislikes violence so if it needs to use force, it prefers to hold the target very tightly.

Although helpful in nature, Hochien seem to compete amongst each other to see who helps out the most.

Whoever helps out the most can boss the other Hochien in the area around, which has led to Hochien crews being developed who pride themselves in efficiently helping out the locals who live in their area.

When Hochien crews conflict with each other, they settle their differences by having their leaders participate in a simulation of Pokemon in distress from amongst their own ranks.
