He originated as a player-character in a Pathfinder campaign (courtesy of Paizo Games) as part of a custom race of rabbit-men I created known collectively as Lepin (having predated the Haregon of the 5e "Feywild Follies" sourcebook by many years). His people were uplifted by the high fey of the First World (the Fey Wild) as servants; being neutral in court alignment, this allowed them to carry out tasks that court politics might complicate for true fey. Being fey-blooded, they do have a tall, willowy build that is more hare-like than strictly rabbit-like, and their formal mannerisms and adherence to hierarchy and honor are traits that they carry over from their creators.
