Graduation Trumpet by AJChimaera Graduation Trumpet by AJChimaera
I mean, how could one resist, seriously.
That would like being in a room with a tea cosy and not putting it on your head - it just has to be done.
Also after my graduation, obviously.

:lmao: Yes, I'd do the same!
And i just read through the comments you and deviant :iconvermilionbird: were sharing about 'the old tacky' things that honestly are so comfy and nice.

Me, I love my German work jackets.
They are ungly and Green-grey, but so soft and washable.
Perfect for painting and wearing everywhere. Tacky maybe, the Hippies in
the 70's made them sort of iconic ant-establishment wear.
I wear them because I don't like wearing anything else!

Why oh why do women wear stilleto heels and act happy? They are painful!
If more ladies would just slip into sneaker, the world would have less pain.

Indeed! :D
Yes, those work jackets you've got are awesome! I've seen a few in op-shops over here, but held back - as much as I love them, they wouldn't really suit me as well as they do you :P
Besides, I've got my faithful old polar fleeces that I've had since early high school!

I shoved a teacozy on my head at a cafe last year... It was fun until my hair got stuck out one of the ear holes and I couldn't get it off, prompting my friend to laugh so hard she knocked over a teacup. *winces*

:D Fun times! Very much the sort of thing I'd do too, so don't feel too bad ;P

Congrats. I like the shirt.

Hmm. I have yet to see a tea cozy, although I know what they are. Aren't they some sort of mythical animal, or am I thinking of the unicorn

Don't know of any tea-cozy mythical animal, though you never know what they might get up to when one isn't watching ;P
Tis just the thing you stick on a teapot to keep it warm - and once it's warmed up, it's a rather comfortable beanie to keep one's head warm in winter :D
Unless you get your hair stuck, obviously ;P

I don't know why, but I just got a mental image of a bunch of guys running around in two foot snow with nothing but tea cozies and boxers on. Weeeeeeeeeee.

I think I'll keep my old, tacky, striped stocking cap.

:D And fair enough too - the old tacky ones are the best ;P
I just stick to my leather yacubra, which is perhaps even tackier!

LOL. Pictures please.

Why is the old, tacky stuff so comfy?

Because it's made to be comfy, and serve its purpose, rather than silly form-over-function fashions of today :P
I need a full-length leather cloak to match my hat, and keep me properly dry. Don't know why they ever went out of fashion!

Full lenght leather is still around, it's just really, really expensive.

Hmmm. So function over form is important? You are a strange man. ;)

But what if someone wants to look really good, but be miserable as hell? OMG! I think I just solved half of the worlds issues. Get these idots out of their high fasion and force them to wear oversized sweaters and ripped jeans, and perhaps, they will lose thier stuffy attitudes and decide to be nice. Once, people are nice, they get along and help each other out, and TA-DA, Utopia is achieved.

Or I could be blowing smoke out of my, you know.

:D Sounds good to me, but then I am very strange indeed ;P
Ripped jeans isn't functional though. They should ideally be cargos festooned with lots of pockets :D I can put as much in my pockets as I could in a backpack ;)
It always amuses me to watch the 'executive' women tottering up Queen St in their stiletto heels and ludicrous skirts & stockings. I'm sure if they just put some proper shoes on and a smart pair of pants their disposition would be improved considerably!
