A colorization of Carole Lombard that I did forever ago. I absolutely adore the way this came out, it's just so vivid!

Wow!  Glamour!  I agree, she's gorgeous and the gown is Olde Hollywood all the way!

Most definitely.  I did this so very long ago!  Even longer than when I had uploaded it.  I wish I could remember the settings I had used, I would use them again for all of my colorizations haha!

On a related note, I never used to realize that anything other than overlay existed for blend modes, so it was probably done in that setting.  It wasn't until just recently that I'd started messing around with color and darken and soft light.

Stunning!!!!! You did a fabulous job on this! It looks (to my eye) like it was photographed in color!

Thank you!  I did this ages ago and I wish I could remember how I did it because I'd do ALL of my colorizations this way haha.

I hope it was Overlay, I should try that soon

It probably was. I colorized it forever ago, back before I realized there were other layer mask options haha. Now that I've tried color and soft light I can't seem to make overlay look good.

Thank you, it's another one of my favorites, and what a beautiful actress as well :)

Thanks, I wish I could tell you but I don't even remember. I know I used Adobe Photoshop Essentials 5, but I'm not sure how I did it, I think it was the Overlay Menu.
