Sorry it's late!
Honstly it's because I can't seem to get my scanner to work at all... Then I forgot I hadn't installed photoshop on this computer. It was also hard trying to minimally clean up the photo's I took from my camera after it was installed...
I also spent so long colouring it in copics I didn't feel like scrapping them all and starting over by colouring it digitally...
Though if you want I can digitally colour it so it's cleaner looking if you think the line art is okay!

Either way I hope you like it!

Misc. details:
Honestly I wasn't too sure how to go about drawing this design, but I liked the minimalism. It was more trying to figure out how all the parts worked together. I ended up referencing Sakura Haruno from Naruto to figure out how to draw a glove pull like I wanted. Then in order to make the cravat and pin visible under the scarf I referenced Dawn/Hikari from the Diamond and Peal Pokémon anime.
I wasn't too sure how the cape was attached or worn so I just kinda drew it attached more to the back of the shirt. I also went with a more of a custom design for the ascot. Making it cut cleanly rather than torn/ripped looking? With the belt I just figured the buckle is attached to one side and fastens on top of the other side but is hidden from view.
I'm sorry the hair isn't as spikey as I intended! I was going to try make it more spikey but I was too focused on the bangs and side bangs that I forgot to make them stick out more than they are... I hope this isn't too far off anyway though? The hair colour isn't quite as red as I wanted... I guess I still need more reddish-brown copics *sigh*
I also forgot I need more gray's. I wanted to try go for something like a deep gray for the gloves and cape. But I'm so limited with the copics I have it was hard to try blend them and have the lines still visible. I didn't wanna just block colour in black.

These are the other fail practice versions I coloured in XD;

Yes, dramatic posing very intentional! Might've felt a bit OOC but when I saw the gloves I so wanted to do a glove pull pose. It only felt right with a srs expression |D
Really? you think the shading is nice? WELL THANK YOU! I tried, rather hard. I'm not confident in my shading skills at all XD; Especially with traditional media because there is no going back with it. Though I find the pressure of not messing up seems to improve my skills more than when I'm spoiled with an undo option digitally |D;;

Hehehe it works well here so nice one~

I've had my fair share of mishaps with taking photos of my traditional art in the past and a lot of the time even if you shade well the camera fails to show all the nice details :'D I can tell from those experiences though that some love an time was put into get some nice shading ehehehee

ugh yeah. taking PHOTOS of traditional art is a hasstle. I do NOT have lighting or set-ups that make it the least bit convenient. And I also know the woes of nice details getting lost even if it's scanned. Sometimes traditional pieces have to be done a certain way that makes it easier to scan/photograph so it looks right digitally, but then ends up looking not quite accurate/right IRL. Aww well I'm glad some of my love and time was visible in this! I had been practicing trying to do copic shading a few months ago, but I'm not that happy with having to work on cardstock but have little choice.

Cardstock and copics is no bueno. Anything less than bristol or watercolor paper just bleeds out everywhere I feel ya :'D With my new phone camera it's a bit easier to take pictures of drawings but you have to do it when it's only cloudy out or else the lighting is too warm or cold hnnng >-> Tis' the struggle of the traditional artist at it's finest

Yeah. I do have bristol but it was a digital line art I ws working on. I had to email the image to my mokmand ask her to print it for me because I forgot I didn't haveink in my own printer... And thte best she had wa card stock.
Oh yes, i have been doing digital art for so long I amost forgot all the stuggle sof traditional art XD; but I do wawnt to get back into it becuase I enjoyed it a lot and I feel like I get less distracted dooing it traditionally compard to digitally.

Ohhh so you made the lineart digital and then colored over it...I should try that sometime it actually sounds like a really good idea since digital lineart has the handy eraser and such O_O A few of my favorite webcomic artists who do traditional do something along those lines as well.
Yeah traditional is nice when you can sit down and work on it. It forces you to improve more because NO TAKE BACKS but if you get something right you just feel way more happy since you actually pulled it off

Yeah. I actually used to do the reverse where I'd sketch, and sometimes line, traditionally before cleaning up and colouring/rendering digitally. But my scanner isn't working and I can't find my install disc *sigh* So I have to make do with trying to photograph traditional art. Which is why I did that for this.
YES. I love the challenge of traditional art because I feel like it motivates me a lot more because of the "no take backs" XD It makes it so I try harder to get it dont right the first time and not mess up. But also because I don't want to end up wasting my resources on a failure. Digital art is nice because of "unlimited" resources (you can always open a new file and if you save often or multiple files you can always go back to an earlier version if an end result is undesireable, and you can't run out of colours or paper or nibs) but I sorta need the challenge sometimes. Because yeah, if you do pull it off the sense of accomplishment is so worth it. Because then it feels like you overcame chance to achieve greatness.

Well... the reason I don't is because I have so few copics to colour with. If I don't have the right shades I can't get things to look so great. I just so happened to have relatively on point colours for this specific image.
But thanks! Glad you think it's cute |3

WoowowWOW you made Kyle look so darn awesome! *w*
The subtly spiked hair also looks so good on 'im, I wouldn't mind it being ascended fanon and carried on into his actual design heheh! 8DD //hittt

LOL thanks. Honestly I was at a loss because I don't know the character and I didn't feel like the CS bio gave me enough of a personal impression to go on to figure out an IC pose... so I just went with something of a calm expression and "getting ready" feel by the glove tug meaning he's preparing for... something XD; I also didn't feel like I had anyone I could ask who might have been able to give me insight on the character personality without ruining the surprise. normally I ask Anu about that kinda stuff.
ha ha thanks. I thought it was nice when I drew it too! But I was dismayed when I thought it ended up being off when I looked back at the reference. But I spent so long and got so attached to it that I didn't have the heart to change it XD; I also have a bit of a problem with trying to figure out how to translate things to a semi-realism style when I draw so when I draw in a more stylized way some things still slip through orz

It's okay. Sorry for not making a legit reference. ^^" To be honest, I have no idea how his hair works. But I like how different people have different interpretations of him. But just for future reference, he's very shy around people he doesn't know and can be naive at times. Once he's familiar with the person, he's very cheerful but can still act clumsy in some situations. (I need to update his app)
