Third set, containing 205 photos. 18/205 photos involved a collision of water of some sort, and of those 18 there were about 10 that had reasonable potential, and this was one of them.

I'm still getting a little bit of the firework effect from a slow shutter speed, but not as much. In this one, it wouldn't be that hard to clean up in photoshop, so if I can up the shutter speed just a little more and still get a good exposure, then on my next set there really shouldn't be too much blur.

But, all in all they are starting to look better, and its just, again, a matter of controlling the shots a bit more and getting better timing.

So far, 1,755 photos taken, so I am ahead of schedule as far as catching collisions go, which is awesome, because I didn't want to have it take me ten months when I need to get this done in one.

I also noticed that the tip of the splash in this one managed to get just outside of my plane of focus, which sort of pisses me off, because otherwise it's a really decent shot... Maybe next time.

Please check out *RichAllen who got me started with a nice tutorial
