Since my first semester, which had a full schedule, is over I will be able to enjoy having some extra free time. I hope to put more effort into different personal projects, including my art.

Free one day membership = (the reason I made this xD)

With the September 13th Nintendo conference in Tokyo there's been a few new videos released for AC:3DS. But, they're all in Japanese. Lately I've been going through and translating the videos for people, there's definitely things learned from the text that you can't get otherwise. I figured that I'd make a journal and keep the translation here for people to link to, if they wish. I will continue to update this journal as I translate more. :)

It's important to note, however, that this translations will not be "exact", and in some cases I just translated it where the main points are all in there but are worded differently.

Translation for Trailer;

Tom Nook: Yes yes,
Would you like to build your house in this area?
Reini-: Huh?
Perhaps, you're the new mayor?
Nice to meet you, I'm Reini-!
Everybody was looking forward to you coming to our fun village.
GariGari: Welcome.
Mosakichi also come over to play.
Hisho(secretary): Yes, mayor!
Is this place okay for the site of the cafe?

I had translated the first minutes of the Q+A Session but there's a full (and better) translation here.

Because of events and other things these past 8 weeks I've been kept busy. Even though I have less free time to spend on things like art projects I'm also a lot more focused and am getting more projects done and at a more effective pace.

When I looks at it, I only have 1 full week of summer vacation were I don't have work or trips eating up time, although I still have matters to take care of then.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to do much art (or even go on a computer) end of this week or the following week as I will be gone on vacation.

Hopefully, I'll be able to use what free time I have to get some good work in on a couple of main projects (as well as some smaller things). Make sure to watch out for them, I've never done anything so big, and thank you for continuing your support.

It's Almost Spring Break!

Journal Entry: Sun Mar 20, 2011, 11:59 AM
:star: My airbrush! It-it's finally working! I'm so happy. *tears of joy*

:bulletred: Sorry I haven't really been adding anything lately, I've been busy with school, especially with art. I'll try to upload my favorites from it in the near future.

:bulletpurple: I'm working on a Flash game at the moment. I'm not going to say too much about it at the moment, but expect some information a couple of months from now.

:bulletblue: I'm definitely getting a lot more use to my tablet now, which makes me feel pretty good.

:bulletgreen: Spring break for me means working on my personal projects, so I'll be busying myself with art (and possibly my 3DS), especially my airbrush .

Update Points

Journal Entry: Sat Dec 25, 2010, 3:14 PM
:bulletgreen: After going back and forth on it, I finally decided to get a Wacom tablet for Christmas. It hasn't arrived yet, but I now feel confident in my decision. ^^

:bulletred: I have a big project due the day after winter break ends that involves sewing a flag.. (finished) Although I am getting prepared to start on a new sewing project.

:bulletgreen: My airbrush is clogged. before I even start on the flag I'm going to have to fix it). Once I do, though, I'm going to start on a project though.

:bulletred: I recently got Flash 8, and I have been slowly working on a project on that that involves some of my characters. I'm working on it slowly but surly. I'm sure my tablet will speed up the process.

:bulletgreen: Another program I got as a surprise present was Manga Studio Debut 4.0. I've tried it out and it's a lot of fun, but I couldn't do too much with just a mouse.

:bulletred: I'm fairly certain that once I get my tablet in the mail I'll download SAI.

:bulletgreen: This year, I definitely want to put more focus into art. I look in my gallery, and see that I haven't done to much in the last two years.

Please continue to follow me into the new year. I hope you had a happy holiday season, a good 2010, and an even better 2011. Until later!

Summary of Fair

Journal Entry: Thu Jul 22, 2010, 4:31 PM
So, last Monday was Fair judging, but before I talk about that I have a very special shout out to someone... MacShare. Thank you so much for the premium account! I can't thank you enough. I'm very grateful.

So, I entered 3 items into the fair. My airbrushed T-shirt, my normal Airbrushing, and the first I sewed.

Glow-in-Dark Outer Space Shirt by aisemicr - The judge really liked this, but said that my composition could be better. The littlest planet could have been a little bigger, and then I could have brought the planets together more. Or, moved the two shining start so they were connecting the planets together. She commented on the blue shine on the little planet.

Outer Space Airbrushed by aisemicr - Not as much on this one, but that I could've added a shine on the moon like I did on the little planet on the T-shirt.

Flower Print Shirt by aisemicr - (Different judge here, this one is just for sewing) Comments included that I forgot to finish up some stitching on the inside, meaning I only sewing it once. Also that I should have used a hook and eye on the zipper (it's basically a little thing that you put at the top to hook it together). Lastly, at the top it sort of folded forwards so you could see the inside piece.

Overall though, I got blue ribbons on every one. I was very happy, I was actually expecting a red ribbon on the sewing, and was undecided on the airbrushing. I also got a red ribbon on the fashion revue (basically you model it) but it from the same things that the other sewing judge commented on. Also, I was suppose to enter Artemisia, but the main reason was because my mom was practically forcing me to. but I got sick of it and stopped working on her, because I want to work on my own time and I don't want her in the fair. I am soon going to start on a new painting, though.

I've very proud of myself for another 4-H year well done. Although I'm already excited for my new projects! I know what I'm doing in sewing, but I'm undecided for art. Hm...

(By the way, the "lonely" status is because it was storming today and this program I normally go to got consoled, and it was a group say and the last one of the week *sigh*)

Projects

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 1, 2010, 7:23 PM
I'm going to try and keep this short, this is more of an update...

So! *hits hands together* So, possibly this Friday, (but probably the next) I will be finishing up a practice airbrushing project that I started... I think in April. XD But it's with an art class, so I can't really control that. *shrugs* I'll probably finish it in one class.

I've already had some ideas for what real projects I want to do for airbrushing, I'm not going to spoil anything though because I'm not 100% and I don't want to make any empty promises (plus surprises are better). I will say though that I'm planning on one on paper and another on a tee-shirt.

Also, I've been asked from a family member to to airbrush a butterfly (on paper) for a friend's baby's room. And I'm planning on adding glow in the dark paint to it. x3

My Artemisia painting has been going well! I still have to finish the bottom left hand corner of it, the background, and some details on her (lace, necklace, frill on sleeve of arm, fixing different things up). Definitely not finishing before school ends, maybe not even before July, but hopefully.

I've started to draw comics! They're kinda messy though, so i won't be uploading any of the ones I've done so far.

And that's my update. :) I'm going to be gone for a week in June though, which will put me behind on everything.

I just want to say to anyone out there, I'm sorry for not uploading much anymore. Last year, most of my art came from either art class or for airbrushing. Now my art class is only one semester long and we just do one big project, an acrylic painting (which is going well, by the way). Also, My airbrushing class is different, and instead of doing a bunch of practice airbrushing works first we're basically going right to projects for fair, besides this one practice thing (it's this melting transparent ice cube with a puddle around it, from a step-by-step book). Though, I have been drawing more on my own, it's more practice so I don't feel like I should put it up.

Speaking of airbrushing projects! I'm now considering doing a canvas bag/T-shirt, and then something on paper as well. No ideas for what to do for either one, though I'd like to try a a person for paper. All that I know is that I want to take it a step up from last year. I want to keep improving, and expanding my horizons so that I can do many different things, techniques, and mediums (as in, paper, T-shirts, nails, etc). That's what made me get into the idea of doing a T-shirt/canvas bag.

One problem though is that I've had only one airbrushing class, and because the teacher is in college she's waiting until she's done for the next class which is at the very end of May. But, the first two weeks she's ready I'll be busy on vacation. And then after that there's limited time before the county fair. *hyperventilates* Still, that one class has given me more confidence to airbrush on my own. Although i don't have all the shiny paint, or sticky notes...

On a side note... sewing is going well. Working on a shirt, which may be my only project. I want it done by the fashion review, but I still have pretty much to do before that, I'd have to work on weekdays, which I'm thinking about doing. If I do finish it, I'll definitely do something else. I got these really cute patterns from my Grandma for making little plush bears and monkeys... the Monkeys are insanely adorable.

And finally, I apologize for making this so dang long. XD but hey, if you don't want to read all of it, or any at all, that's fine with me. But, technically you read this... so you read something. But you can always stop! Right now!...

Well, I finally got my airbrush set up. And, I actually used it, just last weekend on the 7th actually. (I used it for a school project) but, I've been busier lately, I also got a hamster the morning of the 7th. (I would've gotten him on the 6th but after watching two of the hamsters for 2 hours I still couldn't decided and then the store was closing so I came back the next morning) So, that's kept me busy.

Oh, and my school art class! I finished my art history report, and my art sketches. (I don't know if I'll upload any of them, they all look unfinished...) Plus, I have a picture set out for what I'm going to paint. And then my airbrushing class will start right away with April. (though most of my classes will be in May)

Hm, I'm a bit at a loss for what to airbrush... Like for my hamster, for about half a year I knew that I would be getting a hamster, and I thought that a name would come to me when I found the hamster I wanted, but it didn't. It took me a few days to name him and even now I'm not sure if that fits him... (his name is Gizmo, which I thought was nice for a winter white) And then with my airbrush, I expected that right away I would know what I wanted to do, but I still don't. I have some ideas floating around in my head, but noting definite. What do you guys think?

to me! Well, My DeviantArt account actually. You see, it's been exactly one year since I've joined DA! Isn't that something. I'm pretty surprised that I stayed committed to it fr a whole year. Sure, I didn't upload as much as I wanted too... But if I wanted to enough I could've gotten off the computer chair and planted myself with a sketchbook and a pencil. I've been drawing though, I haven't been that lazy... Anyways, I'm going to take this journal to reminisce on what's happened in that year to me, focusing on things art related. *sprinkles magic fairy dust*

:bulletblue:I've made an amazing pair of grass shorts and a lace vest in sewing. I've also worn my grass pants to school!

:bulletred:I tried out airbrushing for the first time. Which lead to me later getting my own. (Only one more week until I can use it!)

:bulletpurple:I had my sewing and airbrushing projects judged at the fair, doing really well and having the grass pants even make it to state.

:bulletgreen:I almost finished a colab with Peaniko. Almost. D8

:bulletblue:Even though I had been a really long time since I've drawn a person, I realized that I'd improved since the last time I tried. Which is what I've been practicing lately, trying to get to the level I want to be at.

:bulletred:I improved my art skills in art class, many of which are were my drawings came from, like the Koi and the Tree in Winter.

:bulletpurple:And finally, I got to meet all of you guys!

Keep on moving forward! :happycry:

P.S. It says that I submitted this the day after my birthday, but that's just DeviantArt time...

Yes, I did get an airbrush, as my gallery shows. It's an iwata Eclipse. I don't have a compressor yet though (My art teacher is selling me one) and I still need a hose... but, I should have something up before February.

Lately I've been practicing drawing everyday, but just practice. The day will come when I doodle something that I think looks decent enough to airbrush. XD (Now that I think about it I should work more on my bridge WIP.)

There's a lot of different things I want to try with my airbrush, such as realistic people but also Manga style. One thing I'm really itching to try is drawing a comic and airbrushing it.

Also, I have a bunch of different art classes coming up. I having my drawing+airbrushing class, my sewing class, and my canvas painting with acrylics in school. I'm so happy. x3

It's almost been a year since I've joined DeviantArt, so for that occasion I'll reminisce on the past year. And of course, make a drawing.

Yes, I am getting an airbrush as a Christmas present. Well, a lot Christmas present actually... But I'm getting stuff on Christmas day too. I know I must have mentioned about it in a journal before, saying that I might, but I am now. And I shall treat it with care! *hugs future airbrush* Otherwise, not too much to say. I drew that spiky hair... (even though the the scanner made the left side look like xPP) and I've been doodling in my free time. Oh,and getting ready to sew. Which makes me think, soon I'll have two art classes and a sewing class at the same time... Erm, not the same time but you get what I mean. So, I'll look forward to my airbrush, and continue on my quest for art! Onward!

3 month overview- WIP on the way

first off: I actually am working on a drawing right now. I'm going to put up a WIP as soon as i get my scanner to work. (but who knows how long that'll take.) I've kinda been on a hiatus from DA lately, it's like I go on but only to check my notes. I'm going to try to turn that around now and start posting more art. yes, it's been over 3 months since my last journal entry, but to tell you the truth not too much has been going on art-wise. I mean, I've been practicing and all but not too much else... the exception to that is when I was at the library with a friend i got to inspiration to draw something. Most of my drawing I have up are referenced from something, be it a photo or a person, but this may actually be my first non-referenced drawing. (the sculpture with all the glass on it wasn't referenced, and the fish, but those aren't drawings.) it seems kinda late for me to be doing this but I feel like i'm in a practicing stage right now where i need to collect all the information i can and i do that by referencing. As far as drawing people goes I have been practicing drawing them without pictures, and i try to practice this every day. Anyways, the year is almost over and all of my art projects start early next year. I have an art class next semester in school and then airbrushing and sewing starting before that in January/February I believe. So, then I'll be pretty busy with doing assigned drawings. I'm going to take advantage of all the spare time I have for drawing now and get done what I want to get done. I'm hoping to get the WIP in this week, all i need is to figure out why my scanner isn't working (I'll probably end up just reinstalling the disk.) I'm also going to re-scan my Princess Peach because the scanner quality on that was poor. But, no matter what I'll keep practicing on art. Hope to see you soon and I hope you enjoy my future art! bye!

P.S. :iconpeaniko: we'll have to get together some time and finish that colab!

yeah, I know, I haven't made a journal entry since July 12... But, a little after that i realized that my watchers have to under these every week, and I don't know if they want to get these. (Though, they don't have to read them.)  Anyways, here's just a big update of everything

County Fair- Okay, my Grass Pants (aisemicr.deviantart.com/art/Gr…) and Lace Vest (aisemicr.deviantart.com/art/La…) got 1st place, which I'm super proud of, and my Airbrushed Flower (aisemicr.deviantart.com/art/Ai…) got a 2nd place, which I'm proud of as well. The airbrushed pictures that the other people did got 2nd place as well, it was really hard trying to explain and re-explain airbrushing to the judge. Also, my grass pants are going to the state fair! I'm really happy that they did so well, and then judges/people at the fair leave comments on it. (they attach paper to it.) So that's a good excuse to go. and then I have to pick it up rearwards at the city office.

So, airbrushing class is over now. *sobs* But, I'm considering buying my own.

That is all for now.

First off, yay! I got a new computer! 8D It's a Vista, and it's works really nice, but I'm already use to Vista from laptops. The only problem is my old computer has a drawing program and my new one doesn't... So I'm gonna try some free programs that have pen tools because my old program doesn't and I'm using a mouse so yeah. Next up, the County Fair project. I started the flower already on Friday, I drew it out fairly easily but then I messed up a lot on the cutting, I finished the background and then this coming Friday I'll start with three of the petals. It's a really pretty, yellow flower, but I just made a nice faded out background with purple and green. Another problem is that even after I finish it I might not get the chance to take a picture of it, it's too big to fit in my scanner. Even though working on the flower is fun I don't want Friday to come any sooner because There's not much summer left and I go to a program but this is my last year in it because next year I'm too old so I'm gonna get a job with it... Oh yeah, I don't know if you guys know how the County Fair works. After I get my flower registered and stuff it gets judged and the judge looks at it and asks me questions about it and then it can get ribbons and ect. Still excited for the County Fair, but it can wait!

Most of the time I write these journals on Saturdays, but I'm going to be leaving early tomorrow and not coming back till late on Monday, so I wanted to write it now. Not much to say this time, so I'll just keep it short and sweet. over the weekend, I might do some doodling. But I doubt that I'll put anything up on here. I would look for my flower for fair but I won't be able to get on the internet much over the weekend, and if anything I'll just check my e-mail. But, I will have to start drawing that soon. I've also noticed that I'm close to 1,000 page views, so I'll try to draw something special to celebrate that. So yeah, I'm really gonna miss going on the internet over the weekend... but I'll try to remember to practice drawing over the weekend! Maybe get some new ideas... So, see ya soon.

Middle-End of July will mark the time that I have to turn in my airbrushing for the fair. I'm pretty well set on doing a basic flower, but I still have to find a picture of one. Who knows how long that'll take? After I find one, I have to draw it out on the paper I was given (there's two sizes... I might end up using the bigger one, I don't know yet.) to make sure that it would work. And then, I have to set up a Friday to use the airbrushing machine. I don't know how long it'll take, it might be a few different days. And after I finish it I don't know if I can Get a picture of it right away for you guys because they might need to get it set for the fair right away. I guess it all depends on when I finish it, which depends on when I start, which depends on when I start looking for a picture. So I'll probably look around a bit today, try and get some ideas.  I don't know what kind I want yet, or what angle... or how close, or what parts are showing. I basically have no idea...

I've gotten a lot of comments on my American Flag, so please let me know if you'd be interested in me explaining all the steps it took to do that in the next Journal.

June, July, August. As far as I'm concerned, when outside of these months, they're just something to fear. But, once I'm back into these 3 I realize how much I've secretly missed them. It may still be the beginning of summer but I'm already worried about the end. I don't have much to say, but here it is.

:bulletyellow: I'm doing a Airbrushed Flower for the county fair so I'll be working on that.

:bulletred: I'm taking a cartooning class at the end on July

:bulletpink: I got to use the new airbrush last Saturday.

I don't have much to say today, gotta get ready now. Tomorrow just inched by because I didn't have the park program o go to. I'll have to miss a whole week of the park for the cartooning, so I'm not sure if I do want to go or not anymore...

:spotlight-left: new journal format! :spotlight-right:

I went back and was looking through my old journals since my last one was #10, and I thought about something… they're big walls of text that make people daydream and stay away from. So, I thought the best way of improving them is, of course, changing the format. Or should I say, giving it an actual format. :/ Anyways, I'd appreciate it if you guys told me which way you prefer, or anything you suggest, you can comment right on this journal if you'd like. =3

:bulletwhite: I posted up my Fantasy Fish that I did in art class, but the next project that we're doing is sculpture with a partner and my partner will probably want to take it home, so I might not get a picture of it, but I'll try to at school.

:bulletyellow: Summer's coming, which means that I'll probably finally get to all my project ideas. Also, expand on my pencil + Copic collection. xD

:bulletpink: The fair's coming up, so I might be doing another airbrushed drawing if I have the time. Also, the next art class is in June.

:bulletblue: My sketches for art class will be turned in on the 26th, so I'll get those drawings posted soon

:bulletred: My next Ouran High School Host Club Book is coming soon, and that might give me more ideas to put in my collection of ideas that I procrastinate on and always talk about but never seem to get to. (Though that will change due summer time)

Oh… I'm really depressed lately because school's almost over, and I'm going to really miss it… More than anything that has ended. (not counting deaths.) So I'll probably end up doing a drawing about school, but at the same time It might not be for a while because I'll be so sad… I'm probably going to cry again like last year. Which was an awesome grade but not as good as this one. ;_;

That's all for now, hope you liked this new format, bai! :peace:
